Help! I am looking for activity ideas w/10 yr DS

I am wondering if anyone has an idea?
My husband and my 9 year old DS have ressies for 9 hole golf. I would like to do something special with DS 10 but he is not old enough for any tours and is too old for the kid activities. Just hoping someone has some ideas I have not thought of. (he hates to shop, so that is out.)

Rent a WaterMouse. He won't be able to drive it, but the two of you can go out on one. It is so much fun!!!!! We always do this from the Wilderness Lodge because the lake is so much bigger. (You can also get them at the Poly.) Nothing like cruising past the Grand FLoridian!!!

I second the Horseback Riding at Fort Wilderness. My daughter did it a few years ago (she was 10 at the time) and loved it.

Does your son go on vmk.com? It's Virtual Magic Kingdom and you can do quests at the Magic Kingdom. You get the quest and have to go around the different lands and try and get the answers to them. At the end you turn in your quest and get cards so they can "buy" things on vmk.com. It was alot of fun and she really enjoyed it.

I haven't been to Disney Quest, so I can't tell you either way, but it is probably something he'd like too.

i think he will like the water mouse and the horse ridding we have two mornings to do something so maybe we can do both.
I do not know what the VMK is but I think I will have both my boys look into it. They may love it. I would love more details about VMK
