HELP I am Freaking Out! Marriage License by Mail

Hi. I am starting the process of getting a marriage license since we are out of state. I noticed on the information form that it says "you must submit your Certificate of Attendance from the counseling provider with your application."



How can i attend a course if i am out of state, and is this mandatory (you 'must' submit..) sounds like it.

AHHHH, i just had a nightmare about being at my wedding, 1 hour before it starts we're getting ready and realize that i forgot to get a marriage license! Now i wake up and try to get it started and find out i have to go to some class in Florida??????????????

Please help!!!! I cant call them until Monday!

Counseling is not mandatory to get a license. I think you get a discount if you have done counseling, but you can get your license without it. It's really a very simple process.

What she said! Counseling is not mandatory, but you get a $32 discount if you have proof of it.

WHAT THEY SAID! We didn't see a counselor either. We got our license from Brevard Cty. Although if Mike doesn't take me to WDW soon we will HAVE to see a counselor......

thanks everyone, i feel better now. I filled out the first form and am sending it in soon. Hopefully it wont take long to get the 'application to marry' form.


I like your Mickey Wedding Ears, i'm planning on wearing them in my ceremony, maybe when i'm about to cry with all the mushy stuff i'll think of myself wearing the Mickey Ears and laugh.
