I too get headaches after riding RNR (most of the time but not everytime). Usually the first time I ride it, it's okay but after that, my head hurts. I try holding my head back against the rest to see if that might help, but the vibrations only make it worse than if I didn't. I just don't think it's that smooth like everyone is saying. Maybe it feels smooth, but the pain in my head is telling me otherwise. I've been on other rides, like the Hulk, Dueling Dragons and Space Mountain, and I don't remember ever getting headaches like I get on RNR. I have ridden these rides over and over again because we had front of the line privileges. Still don't remember them bothering me like RNR.
That being said, I love RNR the best. It is still my favorite and I usually try to take something well in advance before I go on it like Tylenol or Advil. I love roller coasters and thrill rides and will put up with the headache until it gets too bad.
