Help! How to resize .bmp for avatar

Can someone please tell me how to resize a .bmp to the right size for a custom avatar?? Right now, the file is stored on my hard drive, but I don't know where to open it to change size. Am I making any sense....LOL??Thanks so much!!!

You'll have to open it up in a program such as Photoshop or some other program that will allow you to "manipulate" a graphic image.

If you don't have such a program, send it to me as an email attachment ChrisC@wdwinfo.com and I'll take care of it for you.
