I'm filling out my papers this morning and we're set to leave for the Notary Public to get our stuff notarized and I see that I was suppose to call quality assurance within 48 hours of getting our package. How important is this. I called qa this morning but haven't heard back from them.

Can I go ahead and fedex my package after we notarize everything . The remainder of my deposit is due by 4/20

thanks

We never called, and never had a problem.

Good luck.

I think they only want you to call to be sure it has arrived. We never called either.

I didn't realize for over a week that I was supposed to call.

No biggie!

Oops...just realized now we never called QA...but everything is in order. WE close on May 15th.

Now not having it notarized will be a problem. Expect to get the papers back.

It's your chance to clarify anything in the docs you have questions about. Not necessary to call them if you're fine with everything.

You might want to give them a call first.

We did not call them, and went out and got ours notarized. Come to find out, we weren't supposed to have them notarized (somehow, they do it through DVD ???).

It was a big hassle, just because we did not call QA. :confused3

I called QA when I got my package back in November. It's a quick five minute call, just making sure that you have all the documents that you are supposed to.

I did not have my signed papers notarized, and was never told that was neccessary by my guide.

I called them right away because I wanted to make sure I new exactly what everything was and what I had to do. Got a great CM, she was willing to stay on the phone w/me as long as I needed to, she explained practically every page to me!
So it's not important to call if it all makes sense to you, but I say it's better to be safe than sorry.

We have done a few add ons and haven't called QA and it hasn't been a problem. The ONLY documents that have to be notarized are the "mortgage" ones if you are financing through Disney. None of the other papers need to be notarized.

We just sent ours in for our add on at SSR this week!

I forgot to call for one of our add-ons and they called me.

I also forgot to call for an add-on and they called me. I did call them when I got the original contract.

I don't believe you have to notarize anything unless you're financing with Disney.
