Help! How do the Disney Store girls bathing suits run in size?

I am trying to view the size chart, but it won't come up. They have a Tink suit in a 5/6 and a 7/8. My daughter wears a 6 now - I am afraid the 7/8 will be too big, but the 5/6 not big enough. Does anyone know if these run small? Thanks!

In my experience, they run small. My DD cannot even wear the swimsuits from Disney Store anymore, they are too small for her. She wears a size 5 or 6 right now and the 5/6 swimsuit was too tight across the belly (she isn't overweight- her weight is actually below average for her age). I moved up to the 7/8 and it fit better in the body but the length was too long - the crotch was hanging. A two piece fit better but she really wanted the Ariel one piece that they had this spring. When she was younger I would buy her the next size up and it would fit.

I always bought a size up for my daughter when buying a Disney suit, they always seemed to run small.

I've always thought that Disney sizes ran small. It never hurts to get a size up and if it's a bit too long you could always tie the straps back for this year and you'd be able to use it again next year.

My DD is a size 6 and I had the same concern you did. I ended up getting her a 5/6 and put it on her yesterday and it was a bit big!
