Hi there,

I could really use some help as i am planning a trip for 2010.
Bookings usually become available in 2/3 months, and i plan on booking as soon as they come on sale.

As well as my partner, ill be traveling with my younger brother and sister,
who will be 6 & 8 at the time.

They wouldn't share a bed, so I would need bunks, or twins,
as well, as the king/queen for myself and my partner.

Staying at one of the Disney resorts, isn't out of the question,
it just depends on the price, and how much they go up in 2010.

But if anyone can tell me about any other hotels,
offsite,
that provide bunks/twins, and transportation to the parks, it would be a fantastic help.

If ANYONE,
has any advice or suggestions,
It would be MASSIVELY appreciated.

Thanks, :)

Don't know about the bed situation at offsite hotels. But, the transportation can be a nightmare. We stayed offsite 5 years ago and ended up taking cabs after the 1st time using the buses. Out hotel was the last on the stop to pick up and drop off. Drop off was no big deal because even if we got on the bus to standing room only, as they would stop at the other hotels and people got off, seats opened up. Morning was a nightmare though. Standing room only, and they squished us on there so tight it was insane.

I don't know about offsite, but I know AKL has bunk beds. I think WL does too. If you have AAA, you might get a decent discount on the room rate.

Port Orleans-Riverside, had a trundle bed and 2 full beds.

I think that AKL and WL are the only two with bunk beds. PO Riverside might work with the trundle as the PP mentioned, but I don't think that these are guaranteed (they aren't a different price).. Some of the other deluxes have day beds, which could work (but pricier). The ASMusic Family Suites have pull out beds that would work (a bedroom with a queen and a living room with a pullout sofa, chair, and ottoman), too.

Try posting on the resorts board...

Have a great trip!

The Fort Wilderness Cabins, now classified as moderate, offer bunk beds as well as a living room with a murphy bed. More than enough room to sleep your party and more private than a standard room.

Plus, the cabins have a kitchen. This can be a huge money-saver as you can eat some/all your meals there. It might help you be able to spend a little more on accomodations this way.

HTH!

SunSpree hotels by Holiday Inn has a kids bunk area. If you do offsite though, I would rent a car. It costs well over $100 for shuttles to and from the airport. I've also read that the shuttle systems for other hotels are not very good.
