So I was supposed to have all day today to go out and purchase my DVC APs. Due to unforeseen schedule changes, we just arrived. Staying at the Grand Floridian. Tonight we have to be at a dinner, and tomorrow morning I will need the AP to get into Epcot. MS is closed.

Anyone have any suggestions on where I can purchase the DVC AP before I head to the park tomorrow? If I took the monorail over to BLT later tonight could I buy it there? If so - where? At the concierge desk? Or should I call MS first thing in the morning to purchase and then pick them up at Guest Services at Epcot? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Love Disney and love the DISers!! Woot Woot!!!

You don't have to go through member services. I'm not sure if DVC AP's are available at the resorts but if they are not, you can go to any ticket window at a park. You need your DVC ID card, they have to key in your membership # to process it.

In addition to the blue DVC ID card, you also need a driver's license (or some form of picture ID). We just bought ours a week ago.

You can go to any ticket booth, but if possible go tonight to an open park. It'll save you time in the morning so you can just go through the turnstyles. Of course that means your pass will expire a year from today instead of tomorrow.

Have fun!! I wish we were still there.

no need to freak...any guest relations can do that....4 parks + DTD. With the proper ID.

Resort concierges have the ability to issue annual passes, now. Check with the concierge at your own resort. They may not be as familiar with it, since it isn't a DVC resort, but their computer should have the ability to do it.

Thanks, everyone, for the suggestions. I will check our concierge desk first, and if I get any push back I'll just hit the ticket booth at Epcot before I go in. In all my years coming to Disney I've never actually been to a ticket counter! Guess that's why I "freaked," I'm usually not this unorganized! :-) Oh well, this is a kids-free trip and I am solo today, so I can slow it down, right? Just hate to waste an extra second doing anything not classified as "fun." :-)

Fingers crossed our concierge is proficient today! :-)

No, NOT the ticket booth. For DVC discounts you'll need to go to guest relations off to the right side at Epcot.

I bought one a couple weeks ago at the ticket window at the IG entrance to Epcot. If you can buy them at that entrance, I'm sure you muct be able to buy one at the front entrance.

I bought my DVC annual pass right at the ticket booth...I did not have to go to Guest Relations. Only had to show my blue DVC card - she didn't even ask for my drivers license.

I wanted to check out BLT anyway, so I headed over there early this morning, just in case I did need to be at a DVC resort to purchase them. Didn't realize there is no true "lobby" at BLT - all the good stuff is at Contemporary. (Live and learn!) But the concierge there was very helpful and kind! He wasn't "quite" sure he could do the DVC discounted APs, but another CM there assured him he could. A few keystrokes later I was in business! He asked for my ID, but not my member card. I do need to go back and make sure I was charged the proper price, but other than that it was simple. Apparently I could have done it at the Grand Floridian concierge desk - as stated by BirdsOfPreyDave, but oh well. I wanted to check out BLT anyway. (I should have believe in you, Dave!) :-)

They also printed out my MNSSHP tix for next week, as well. A one stop shop!

They've updated the ticketing systems, and ticket booths can now do DVC annual passes. You're not forced to go to a Guest Relations window any more. We always buy our passes and TIW card at the same time, so we still head for GR.

Fyi, I believe the concierge can only "print" tickets on the thicker KTTW cards vs the traditional Tyvek passes. Some people prefer one type over the other.
