Help Help questions need fast answer

Help, I need to know if anyone hasever gone on a ramada plaza resort trip, they are offering me 4 days 3 nights in orlando and 2 nights 3 days in laurdale for 199.00 per FAMILY up to 5 people BUT IS THIS A SCAM??? I called credit card and they said they have no promblems reported but im still nervous about it.

any advice whould be great!!

It is for timeshare sales? Check out the resort on line. Call and ask some questions. Check with BBB. I hope someone else can help you more!

I wouldnt do it. Any of those "deals" are never good.

This is a timeshare offer. We did one awhile back and had no problems at all. If you dont mind wasting about 4 or 5 hours of a day GO FOR IT!!!! Actually if you have the time 199 for 3 nights in a nice hotel isn't a bad deal. Check to see if they offer any disney or universal tickets to go with the package. Some timeshare offers give tickets in addition to lodging.

The one I heard bad stuff about was the one that included a cruise - sounded like the ship was ready to sink and very dirty. I would try to get hotel specifics.

This hotel is just a basic hotel. All the Ramadas in that area are. I still dont think its a good deal.

Timeshare Offer--you will lose precious vacation time if you choose this option. If you have the time and stamina it may be worth it. Otherwise, look for other alternatives that won't try your patience and eat up your time when you're on vacation.

DONT DO IT!!

My bf actually did buy the trip- 3 years ago and unbeknownst to me has been paying each year to extend it. We are leaving Feb 14th for 9 days and purchased the 2 day Bahamas cruise.
The customer service people are rude, we've had a nightmare of a time trying to pin down the hotel. All the hotels they've offered us- Ramada 1000, Wellesly, Amerihost and Radisson Barcelo have less than glowing reviews on tripadvisor.com- we are staying at the Radisson Barcelo which appears to be the best of the group.
We do have to do a timeshare presentation however the lady my bf spoke to said to bring our kids to the presentation and tell them to behave as bad as they can (kids are looking forward to this) so that they will try to get us out of there fast. All I can say is that it has been one problem after another and I'm sure it won't go smoothly once we get there either!!!

Be so glad that you didn't do it!!! I bought their package and then felt like I had been scammed. After searching online I found so many negative things about it, including many at a site for ripoffs. I called them back within the allowable three days (which of course they don't tell you about not to mention they try to change you mind when you call) and cancelled my package! Luckily I was one of the few who got my money back. Apparently when those that took the vacation got to the hotel it was a dump, if they upgraded, which they were encouraged to do, it wasn't worth it! The cruises were awful too so I hear. Plus you never got anywhere with any employees! Many people complained that the car rentals were a scam as well because you ended up paying a lot more money to get everything squared up with that too! Needless to say, it wasn't an affordable vacation at all and ended with a ton of stress, and aggrevation!!!
