Hee hee.....Ok question about b-days....My daughter turns 9 about 3 weeks AFTER we get home from Disney...BUT we are going for her b-day.....Will she still be able to get a B-day pin????? Is that too far away????? Are they really picky about who they give one to????

I really want her to have a great time there....

What does everyone think?????:confused3

I don't think that should be a problem. Just tell them you're celebrating your daughter's birthday and I'm sure they would be more than happy to give you one! :)

When we were in a store in Epcot, the lady working there took a liking to DS. She asked if it was his b-day and I said no, it was a few weeks later. She told me to get him a b-day pin anyway, so I did. They didn't ask me for any "proof", so I'm sure you'll have no trouble getting one. Enjoy your trip!

Just go to guest relations at the park and ask for a birthday button. They don't ask for details. When we took my kids I got a button for both of them. It was my oldest's actual birthday on our first day in the parks. But the younger child's birthday was only 4 days earlier so we celebrated both birthdays. The birthday buttons didn't get us any special treatment other than some extra birthday wishes.

are these pins the kind you trade or something that just says its your bday. We are going 1 week after my bday and 3 before my DS.

My son's b-day was about 3 weeks before our trip we just took in March. We just told them at check in we were celebrating his birthday. (WE WERE...This was part of his birthday present). Anyway they asked which day we wished to celebrate, what his favorite charater was, had me write his name on a piece of paper. The next day we can back to the room for a mid day break and while I was putting sun block on my DS we had a knock at the door...It was a CM with 3 balloons and a birthday card and picture of Buzz Lightyear. It was very nice. We (he) lost the first button he was given. It kept coming undone. The front desk replaced it without any questions asked. The second one kept coming undone too, so we finally put it up!

They are buttons, not pins. They are not the kind that you see people trading.

At MK and MGM they had the same button. When I was there a year ago they said "Today is my birthday" across the top and had a picture of Mickey and friends and the castle. They were 3" circles.

The Epcot birthday buttons a year ago were a 3"x2" rectanglur button with Happy Birthday across the top in English and Happy Birthday written in various languages below it with a picture of Mickey in the middle. They said "From your Epcot Family" on them.

Yes, we "celebrated" two days in a row so I have birthday buttons from both Epcot and MK. :rolleyes1 The kids were wearing their birthday sweatshirts both days because it was cold and a CM gave them buttons the 2nd day even though we told her it was the day after.

They don't check ID I am sure they will give her one and wish her a happy birthday!

Thanks very much for all your replys....I think I will GO FOR IT.....:upsidedow
I know she will and myabe even my husband will wear one...(its his 40th)...

Wooohoooooo can't wait...

Thanks again everyone...

I doubt they would give us one, My DD's is one month before our trip?
Do you think they would?

They don't ask you for the birthdate...just when you are celebrating. Make dinner plans for them one night and make that the day you are celebrating and there ya go!
