HELP! Grocery-shopping off-site w/o a car...

Part of our stay in less than 3 weeks will be at Ft W cabins, where I planned on preparing alot of meals to help keep costs down. However, we are now flying instead of driving, so we will not have our car. How do I get to Goodings (or any other local food store w/o a vehicle??) I know that Ft W has a store, but is it kinda PRICEY?? How good are the selections?? Please help ~ I may have to make some extra PS's now.....

They deliver to your room, or cabin. $15.00 fee for up to $100 in groceries. Goes up in smaller increments after that.

I plan to use them in April, and have read great reports about them.

Others us netgrocer.com. I chose against them, only because no perishables could be mailed to me.

Or you could use a town car service to your resort~ I think most of them include a 30 min grocery stop in the round trip fare.

I have read that other people mail themselves a package(s) of food from home. Plan to have it arrive before you get there. This may work great for snacks ( mail chips and anything that could crush in a differnt box). Then you only have to buy meats and other perishables. I think I read on a site Oh I know Mousesavers click on the WDW (top left) a dropdown choice list will appear click on "Other Disney World Savings" grocery stores and ideas are listed there. Somewhere else in that dropdown menu it gives info on Downtown Disney and Celebration ( Celebration has a website too ) in Celebration I believe there is a place called MarketPlace. There is a goodings grocery store. Maybe someone call you if you can take a Disney Bus or Boat there. I will be going for the first time in Apr. i have just done a lot of reading.
Like others said...if you are taking transportation from airport to resort, if a town car you can make a stop. Good luck happy reading and shopping
