Help! Got free plane tix but ? about DVC room.

We snagged nearly free plane tix for us and our kids for their school spring break (don't ask--looooong story!) and are desperately hoping for availability at any resort for a 2 bedroom for April 15 through 19. MS is closed. Should I take these tickets and hope for a room? Or are the chances zero? I have to decide in the next few hours!

You could always log onto Disney's website and see if they have any 2 bedrooms available in CRO inventory. I know its different than DVC inventory but it would at least give you an idea if there is "any" availability or everything is booked.

If it were me I'd probably take the tickets. If no DVC was available I'd book somewhere else. How often do you get free (or almost free) air fare?! There are thousands and thousands of hotel rooms in Orlando (heck, there are that many at WDW!). Surely something is available somewhere!!

Okay, I just checked the Disney web site. I get 2 bdrms for your dates at OKW, SSR and BCV (believe it or not!). Call MS on Monday morning and see if they have anything available. If not, see if they can pull CRO inventory for you.

Take the tickets and you will find something. You might luck out with DVC too..but nonetheless.....a hotel somewhere.

Check the DVC rent/trade. Sometimes people have ressies and as we all know plans change. If they are inside the 30 day - they'd much rather rent them out then put them in holding. Start looking now and then pay close attention after the 15th. Good Luck!

Night of Saturday April 14th cash w/ member discount for a 2-br SSR
Nights of Sunday April 15th through Thursday, April 20th on points for a 2-br SSR.

We were especially happy that the cash with member discount night was available the first night because it would have cost 95 points if we had to do it that way!

Our kids looooooove the SSR pool and DisneyQuest at DTD, so SSR is going to be a fun change from OKW for them, even if we are a little more than usual.

Isn't it fun to plan and go on a last minute trip.

sometimes to me those are the best - especially if you are luckie and get your DVC rooms.

I believe it was $558 and change before tax. That's for a 2-bedroom. Good luck. It was certainly better than 95 points, which just seemed outrageous to me!
