Hubby has a conference in Orlando and we are surprising our 4 year old with a visit to MK on Tuesday, the day after PD. We are not staying on property and I have not bought our tickets yet because of his schedule with conference. So, it looks like Tuesday is the day. Any advice on how to handle fast passes when we get in park? Should I go to kiosk and get them settled...can I even do that? I was thinking about purchasing tickets Monday night in DD, but wondering if I should even try to! We do plan to get there early for rope drop...7:30.

Just trying to figure out a game plan. :)

I can't answer your fast pass question, but we stayed on property in January, bought our tickets the night before and the CM at Art of Animation made our fast pass reservations for us.

That being said I just wanted to warn you to allow plenty of time for getting to rope drop. For a 9AM opening 7:30 sounds good. Once the ropes drop head down Main Street and take a right in front of the castle (do not go through the castle) following the crowd and go right to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Ride that first and then continue riding the Fantasyland rides. Then maybe head over to Adventureland for the Jungle Cruise, Pirates, Aladdin. etc. We love things like the Tiki Room and Country Bear Jamboree, but wait on these until you have done the rides as these typically don't have the long wait times the rides have. Pack snacks!!

have fun!

You can buy your tickets on the website using "will call" and book your FPs in advance. Then just pick up your tickets in DTD on Monday night.

The park does open at 8:00 so 7:30 would be okay depending on where you are headed at rope drop.

Just wanted to add the rumors are flying that park ticket prices may increase on Sunday. MK ticket price may rise to $105/adult so you may want to purchase your tickets now via the Disney website.
