Help getting PINs.

We have gone to WDW every 12 to 18 months for the past 7 to 8 years. We are registered on the WDW site and they have all of our info.
But we have never gotten one of these PIN codes (from what I know of).
How do we become eligible for one? What are we doing wrong?

We are Disney Visa card holders as well (what a shock right). We have gotten some things from that, but they have all been pretty lame. I even just saw on mousesavers.com that in previous years they have offered free dining to card holders and we never knew. Once was during a time we were there!

Do you get emails from Disney Destinations? If not, try to make sure they have your email address at the Disney website, then everyone here has been saying they've gone in and "saved" possible vacations (not actually BOOKED or put a deposit down on anything). They put in a few different dates, play with different resorts, go back a few days later & make some changes... basically play with numbers and act like they are looking for a pricing idea.

Some say they then will get a box that pops up and asks "why haven't you booked?" or something to that affect. They will then tell it "because I don't like the price" or "I'm looking for a discount". Usually after a few days (or weeks) they will receive a PIN in their inbox with a deal. If you are looking to go this fall, be sure and put in fall dates, as there is a PIN that expires at the first of June. There is a second PIN that is good for all year, that's the one you would be hoping for if you are looking to go later.

As for your Disney VISA... make sure you are getting your promotional emails from them. I don't have VISA but folks here have said they always see the offers come in email or they find them on the VISA website. They do typically have a free dining offer in the late fall.

Also, if you stop by here periodically, someone is ALWAYS posting the latest deals as soon as they come out, so you can make sure you are aware of any specials when you book. One last option, get a Disney Specialist TA to book your trip for you, and they will always make sure that you have the BEST offer out there from Disney for your trip, and you won't have to worry with it! Of course, if you get a PIN you will have to let your TA know, as that only comes to you... but for general public offers, a TA will be on top of it!
