So, on our MK day, we would like to have breakfast at the Gasparillia Grill at the Grand Floridian Resort. I'm assuming that the best way to get us there would be to take the bus from Pop Century to the Magic Kingdom and then take the boat over to the Grand Floridian. What I dont know is how early the boats start running. (I'm also assuming that the boat goes to GF but I'm not actually 100% sure.) Does anyone know where I can find that information? Also, if there is a better way to get to the GF from POP, I'd love to hear it! :goodvibes Thanks.

1. Boat or the resort monorail but yes there are boats. How early are you talking about?

2. Taxi or rental car thats about it.

All righty then...I just read that the Gasparilla Grill is going to be closed while we're there so I guess I'm off in search of a Plan B!

Gasparilla Grill is a counter service restaurant. Captain Cook's at the Poly has a similar menu at breakfast.

Be glad Gasparilla's is closed. It's the worst restaurant we've ever been in WDW.

Thanks. I didn't realize that. Counter service is what were are looking for and we haven't eaten here before either. Maybe this will be the place. :goodvibes

The Tonga Toast at Captain Cook's is very good. Here's a link to the menu at allears: http://allears.net/menu/menu_chh.htm

I've only eaten at Gasparilla's once. It wasn't the worst meal I've had at WDW. That honor goes to Cap'n Jacks in DTD. But I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to eat at Gasparilla's.

I checked out their menu and it does sound like what we will be looking for. I've wanted to try Tonga Toast but this year I'm hoping to avoid words like "battered" and "deep fried". In 2010 I came back home 8 1/2 pounds heavier and I'd like to keep it around 5lbs this year! pixiedust:

We just ate there multiple times this weekend. Lunches only. No complaints from adults or kids. we had typical kid stuff (chick nuggets, cheeseburgers, etc.) and other stuff (fresh made salads, sandwiches, soup, crabcakes, grilled chick sandwich, burgers).

Curious what made it the worst restaurant you have ever been to in WDW?
