Help from you creative ladies :-)????

Hi all! I've seen your pages so I know you guys are so creative. I need help. I've been making paper plate awards for our swim team banquet and I'm stuck on one. For those that don't know (I didn't until a few weeks ago), basically you decorate a paper plate for a specific nickname that the coaches made up for the kids. The one I'm stuck on is for a 13-14 year old girl and is called "A slap heard round the world." Any ideas?

Ok so "slap heard around the world" the first thing that came to mind was making the Earth on a spring or popped up and then have comic bubbles coming out of the earth with "Did you hear that slap?" you could have one coming from Europe, and the US and then if you can find out how that phrase is said in a different languages, you could write it coming from those specific countries.

If you pop the earth up off of the paper plate it gives you more dimension and you would be able to layer the comic bubbles all around the plate.

Thanks for the wonderful idea MomofIndigo! I asked for clarification today from the girl's coach and it was for a bad belly flop she did during this season. Apparently, she came up laughing at herself saying "what the heck was that" so it became a joke. I have it covered now, but I love your idea! Very creative...
