We are going to WDW in December, it will be our third trip but our first split stay and I wanted some advice on how to book the park tickets. The first three nights will be at Saratoga Springs and we are booked in a two bedroom suite with friends using their brother's DVC points. The next five nights will be at the Contemporary and I will book directly with Disney. For the second 5 nights I am going to get the dining plan, so I need to buy the park tickets with that reservation. Do I need to link the park tickets to the Saratoga Spring reservation as well so that they are available at the beginning of our trip? How do I do that? Will my 60 day Fastpass window open up with the Contemporary reservation or with Saratoga Springs? Thanks so much for the advice!!!

1. Do I need to link the park tickets to the Saratoga Spring reservation as well so that they are available at the beginning of our trip? How do I do that?
2. Will my 60 day Fastpass window open up with the Contemporary reservation or with Saratoga Springs? Thanks so much for the advice!!!
1. You can't do that. You can pick the tickets up 3 days early. Here's an active thread on that topic: http://www.disboards.com/threads/early-package-ticket-pick-up.3411510/#post-53692280
2. 60 days from the start of your Saratoga Springs resort.

60 days from the start of your Saratoga Springs resort

But they won't have tickets available for that stay 60 days out. Once they pick up the tickets 3 days before Contemporary checkin they'll have them for the SSR reservation. Right?

People have talked about ticketless packages that you can get by calling. That might be a good option for the contemporary stay, so you're not having to buy extra tickets or wait until you're there to make FP+ arrangements for the SSR stay.

Thank you! I will call and ask about a ticketless package. If I buy park tickets separately, will I be able to book FP+ 60 days out for the entire trip? Would I need to link it to the Saratoga Springs stay to make that happen? Since we are staying with friends, can we both link to the same reservation?
