Hi all, We finally decided to switch our Disneyland trip in November to Disneyworld. Now I am trying to decide on park days. I posted this in the November thread *happy dance* but thought I might get more input on the main board.

This is what I was thinking: starting Nov 9th Mon Epcot, Tue HS, Wed MK, Thu HS, Fri AK, Sat MK.
2 older adults - we still love Disney in our 50's. Arrive on Sunday and leave on Sunday. Wondering if I should swap the Mon Epcot and Sat MK?

Thanks :smickey:

EP might be busy on Saturday due to FWF I’d keep the schedule you have.

Saturdays are typically busy at MK too, but I think a lot of people travel Saturdays. MK in the morning should be good. It might get more crowded in the afternoon once new guests arrive.

I would leave it as it is. As PP mentioned, Epcot will get busy on Saturday and with only one Epcot day, I would want to go on a slower day. MK will likely be busy on a Saturday but with it being your second day, there will be more room for error/crowds. Just make rope drop your friend on Saturday.

I agree you should leave your schedule the way it is!
We are arriving the day you leave! Enjoy your trip!

We just got back from our trip, and agree with the others that Sat are busier, but for any of the parks, even AK which is the least popular right now. Think what you have is a decent plan, also given your Sat at MK, while it will be busy, it's also your 2nd time at MK (vs. your 1 visit for EP or AK). The way we scheduled our days was to put HS, the most popular park and highest wait times (partially due to only like 7 attractions and no shows right now) on the least busy week day we had (Thurs. since it was a Thurs - early Tue trip and Mon was Labor Day). We made MK Fri, Mon, and Tue (only 2 hrs). EP on Sat (Labor Day wknd so Sat or Sun would have been about the same). Sun was AK. Worked out really well. We did arrive early. We were the very first to tap in 4 days in a row. We rode Runaway Railroad 5x, RotR, SDD 3x, TSM 5x, and ToT/ RnR / SR 2x. FoP 5x, 7D 4-5x per full day. Even our 2 hr day we rode 7D 4x, PP, HM, Pirates, Pooh, Space because we were on our first 7D at 30 min before park open.

Yes only reason I have 2 days for HS is to hopefully get a boarding group. West coast here and I work 12 hour night shifts so the 10am & 2pm become 7am & 11am. Unfortunately 7am is the exact time I am handing over to dayshift and 11am I am normally asleep. So I will be practicing on my off days.

Good luck landing a BG. We practiced the week before at both times, and the 2pm went past 30 seconds at times, and 10am was typically done between 7-18 sec. Despite the practice wife still got ours at group 7. I had set my watch to satellite time, to the sec:). Groups around us was successful- no one struck out, mostly 19-20 something BG.

We originally had 2 HS in fear of an extended RotR breakdown day or missed BG. But we chanced it with week before and went with a 2nd MK.

Reasoning was that HS has higher wait times, only 7 attractions that interest us (without the shows), just had arm surgery and TSM is my favorite:), MK has almost nothing down/a lot more attractions, and we’d be back next yr and every yr if we miss RoTR/MMRR (2nd time for me). HS is my wife’s least favorite of the 4, and especially with reduced wait times, we wanted to take advantage of visiting some of the other parks vs 2nd time at HS. It was tough though. I love TSM so much. Still got high for the day 4x in a row - but paid the price with swelling and icing my elbow for a week.

We were in disneyworld last year as well with a few friends, flew in a few days earlier because of the hurricance (Dorian). We had an older gentleman and another who is not a large fan of roller coasters, she actually got nauseous on the Dr. Seuss ride that is just on the track up higher. So this time around we are hoping to get on some of the rides we missed. ToT, RnRC, EE, FoP, Safari our other goal is to hopefully see some of the Christmas decorations, sad there will be no castle lights. Husband has started doing the lights set to music on our house the last few years, so getting a chance to see any of the Christmas stuff is a treat.

Going 11/9-11/14. Arriving early on Monday & will head to MK, Tues is AK, Wednesday Epcot, Thursday back to MK and Friday at DHS. Saturday we will check out & head to US/IOA (comp tickets) before our late evening flight home.
