Hi - my husband and I are in our 50's and have been to disney several times. We are staying in the Orlando area in a couple of weeks and want to do different things this time. I have been trying to figure out the differences in the other theme parks and to research other stuff to do.

We are not into heavy duty roller coasters but don't mind the smaller ones. Which park would be best for adults? Am I right that Islands of Adventure has mostly roller coasters? Any advise is appreciated and any other suggestions of good stuff to do in the area. We like most everything except shopping!

Thanks, sue.

IOA has three coasters. Hulk (big), Dueling Dragons (big), and Flying Unicorn (small). The rest of the rides are different, fun, and thrilling.

USF has 1.5 coasters. Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse coaster (small) and Mummy (only a small part coaster, but intense). The rest of the attractions are fun.

If you're looking for more thrills, IOA is for you. If you prefer a more laid-back park, USF is best.

USF would be the better park, with the movie attractions. Just don't ride BTTF, it's a simulator that will shake you up.

SWF (Sea World Florida) will be to your liking.
You'll get to see shows, feed dolphins, stingrays, and eat a nice meal. SWF is laid back compared to the other parks. All you need to do there, is be at each show 20 minutes before it starts, and you're in. Oh, and for the Polar Bear exhibit, don't do the simulator, do the walk thru. You see the same movie but don't get shook up.
