Hello :)

I'm going to be getting married in WDW in November 2008, and i'm starting to stress about it already!! Has anybody from the UK had a Disney wedding, and if so was it easy to book and organise? I also want to know how people organised getting their hair and make up done. Thanks in advance!! :yay:

Hi and welcome to the board.

I'm getting married in Nov this year. I've booked through Virgin Holidays but many of the brides on here have gone through Disney direct. Disney or the tour operator will give you contact details of people that can come to the room and do your hair and make up. I've found the booking process really easy, I kind of feel I should be doing more.
On this board there are many UK brides and they have planning journals, if you have a scan through you can read how they made their journey doen the aisle.
Good luck with your planning :flower3:

Hi and welcome

I am a uk bride as well and am getting married in November, I can't believe how quick the months are going!!!

It is really easy to do, just check out the disney wedding website see what you want, give them a call and hey presto before you know it you will have your wedding booked. It couldn't be any easier. Like you I stress as well, but honestly there is no need I see this sitting next to my to be as he shakes his head lol. Seriously though the wedding co-ordinators are brilliant, you e-mail and organise a time for them to call, they call you on time, go through things, e-mail you pictures send samples, some of which they will do whilst you are on the phone to them.

With regards to hair and make up there are so many to choose from I am using Beaute Speciale who everyone on this forum really rates highly. I am also using Randy Chapman the photographer and STVS the videographer these you need to organise yourself once you have the date of your big day. The officiant is another person that you need to organise as well.

Congratulations and good luck and happy planning:banana:

Hey there - I too am a UK bride-to-be! We're getting married 5th August 2008 - and are dealing with Disney direct - they have been great, so don't worry! :)

i got married in november 2005, congrats on setting a date, november is a great time to go, not too hot or cold.
i booked my wedding through virgin, but i wouldnt recommend them, they messed my wedding up big time. i booked my hair and make up through a lady i got recommended too by someone on this board, she was great.
if you have any specific questions i'd be happy to help, i've been there and done it, and had a few hiccups along the way but everything worked out fine in the end!
have fun planning!!:)

Hey!

I got married in December! Congrats on setting a date!!

We booked through Disney as initially we had so many problems with a tour operator! Disney was wonderful to work with! I got all my recommendations for Hair and Makeup from on here! The DIS was my ultime planing guide! Everyone is so friendly and happy to help with anything!

Hi there, I got married this May and we booked through Thomas Cook Signature Hols. We liaised with Disney once Cooks had confirmed who our co-ordinator was. If you have any questions, let me know.
Happy Planning!
