Help for a Muslim friend

I would like to bring a work associate to Animal Kingdom for a day trip. My associate is Muslim. Are there places in Animal Kingdom that she can do her prayers?

Please pardon my ignorance but I wasn't aware that Muslims needed a special place to pray. Aren't they able to do so in any room?

If your associate is simply looking for a quiet space, there is a quiet area down by the old boat landing, and there are some pathways around the Flame Tree BBQ that could be less traffic conjested.

As an interesting aside, there is a dedicated prayer / meditation room in Morrocco at Epcot.

I have seen several Muslims in different places in WDW praying. Usually over to the side of the walkway in lesser traversed areas. You could ask a CM if there is a semi-secluded place nearby wherever you are. I'm sure they will be accommodating.

I would ask a CM upon arrival. I'm sure they can point out a few places that might be quiet and out of the way. They should at least be able to point out a few spots where others have done it.

I have seen Muslims pray all over WDW. They find a place in the grass usually and carry on with their daily prayer(s). There are plenty of places available and I am sure a CM would be more than happy to help in finding that place.

I think it's always best to ask a CM. No doubt they get this question all the time & probably have a list of best spots for privacy & quiet. I hope you & your colleague has a terrific trip!
