Help Fixing a Photo

Hey there, this is one of my first times on this board, but you all seem like a helpful bunch of people.

In March, I went to Disney with my boyfriend, and took some photos with his camera (since then, my brother bought me a Canon XSi for graduation, so awesome!). I got a couple nice shots of the tigers in Animal Kingdom, but because of the glass, there is a reflection that I would like to try and get rid of.

Can any of you recommend how to do this? Or possibly a Photoshop tutorial on removing such things? Or is this a lost cause? Thanks!

With Photoshop there is rarely a lost cause as long as someone has enough time and talent to retouch the photo. The reflection could be minimized, probably enough so it would be very difficult to tell it was ever there.

Copying the reflection area to another layer then adjusting the levels and saturation would be a good start. With some additional blending and masking that might be good enough. After that it depends on how much time you want to put into it to get it better.

I agree with Bob. Some cloning from different areas of the tiger could help. You have reflections in so many spots on the image to this would be a tedious task with risk of repeating patterns.

People will place a polarizing filter on their lens to reduce glare. The filter will act like sunglasses.
