BF and I had planned on going to Jamaica for Dec. When he found out how much I like WDW, he said lets put off Jamaica till spring and go to WDW in Dec. instead!

It's not offical yet but I want to start looking into it. I've been 4 times now so I know the "lay of the land". But I've never been at Christmas time. It's just him and I, no kids, so should we do the MVMCP? Do they even have that the 1st week of Dec? Is there anything else going on I should know about? We're going for 7 nights, so we have lots of time do just about anything we want.

I'm so excited!!! If nothing else, I do know that WDW looks great with all the x-mas decorations. How does the CR look? The WL? We'll be staying at one or the other, I think.

Anyway, thanks in advance for any advice you can give!!!

Well, your in for a real treat going to WDW in December!

Wait till you see the place! The parks the resorts all decked out! I've heard that WL decorations are one of the best! I've seen the CR and they are nice but not as nice as some other resorts decorations. I personally love the location of CR though!

Yes, do MVMCP! So you can see the Xmas parade and the snow on Main Street etc...It's a very magical night!

Then there's the Osborne lights at MGM everynight...you can just go see them or wait and see them after Fantasmic show!

Then go to Epcot and do the Candlelight Processional if you like Xmas music and the story of Christmas. VERY festive!

Take a tour of all the resort's deocorations

Go around the world at Epcot to see all the different Santa's

Even DTD is festive in December and Santa is always there.

Then each park has a tree lighting ceremony!

Country Bears Jamboree will all change to the Christmas show by then!

Have a blast!:teeth:

I was there last year the first week of December, and I thoroughly enjoyed the Mousefest activities ( http://allearsnet.com/btp/mousefest.htm ). If you are into the travel guides, websites, etc., you might be interested in trying to attend some of the Mousefest meets. I met a lot of authors and DISers last year, some of whom have become great friends of mine. I plan on going back this year in hopes of meeting up with them again in person.
