Can someone point us in the right direction. Is it cheaper to book transportation through one of the shuttles/towncars that stops at the grocery store on the way to Disney (That's a MUST stop for us to stock up on food/snacks) or would just taking a cab be better?

Can someone post links for the shuttle that stops at the grocery store? Or a number to contact them.

Thanks so much!

We just returned yesterday and we used HappyLimo.com which was great! We rented a town car with a grocery stop round trip and it was $118.00 for the four of us. Good Luck!

We have had great experience with Tiffany Towncars - Cost $95 plus tip for roundtrup to Disney hotels. In fact I just got off the phone booking them again for our trip this Feb. They have a website with all the info. You can look them on via a web search.

Thank you. Do ALL of these make the Grocery Store stop??? That is the most important for us. I don't care if we get there in a old Pacer just so long as we can stop at the store.

On the forum somewhere someone posted a link to a shuttle service that made a 30 minute stop at a grocery store before going on to the resorts. I believe the cost was $85.

Does anyone know the website link for that service. I was on their site but forgot to bookmark it.

Thanks.

I know Tiffany makes a grocery stop. The cost is $95 R/T, but there is a $5 coupon on their website. THere is also an $8 coupon in the passporter guide if you have that book.

Another option, is to have groceries delivered to your room www.wegoshop.com is recc. alot on these boards. We have always done a grocery stop, with Tiffany, but are using the delivery service this time around, because we have a later flight in than we originally planned.

We went in October and used Florida Tours. They were awesome. Waiting for us when we arrived, movie playing in the van for the little guys, made our grocery stop and on time picking us up at the end of our stay. They are top notch! Also, thanks to Andy's recommendation, we were able to fax our grocery order over before we left to the store before we left so when we arrived it was in a cart witing to be rung up. Made it so simple. I will be using them again!

We have used Tiffany and FL Tours and been very happy with both. Those are the only ones I can vouch for. I know others have other companies that they have used and were happy with.

I used Tiffany as well. We were really happy with them. He was waiting for us, helped us with our luggage, gave us some good info about the resort, etc. I didn't use the grocery stop they offer though. I'll will used them again for sure (unless the Magical Express prooves to be great). Don't for get the tip though! :rotfl:

Do you pay for the service up front or when they pick you up for the return trip? Any problems with them picking you up at a designated time? Is there any price difference if you do not need the grocery stop? Thanks for everyones help!

I paid Tiffany when they dropped us off at the resort. The price is the same whether or not you use the grocery stop. Our driver was very prompt both picking us up at the airport and when we left our resort. I believe they only stop at one or two specific grocery stores.

I have used Southern Elegance town car service several times and have always had a great experience. Their cars are very clean, the drivers are prompt and friendly, they do a grocery stop, very personal experience, etc. I believe the web site is ************************************.

It is definitely better to use this kind of service than to use a taxi, and it's about the same price!

Welcome we are new to the disboards ourselves. We used www.magictransportation.com ( Magic City Transportation ). We loved our free 30 min. store stop we actually went over our 30 mins with no problem. We were a family of 6 and used the van service, but there towncars rates are 10.00 cheaper. We highly recommend them and will use them again in Dec.
Good Luck! :wave2:

Has anyone used this service:

This is the one I originally saw posted here and found the link again. Just want to make sure we chose a legitament service and they will be waiting for us at the airport.

Yes! I used them in Oct. We had a personalized sign for the kids when we were met at the airport. We made our store stop @ Publix Supermarket. Also available is a stop at the entrance to WDW for a photo op. The driver would be more than happy to take your picture with your camera.

I highly recommend them and will be using them again in April.

The problem with using a taxi is the meter is running. If you run into any problems on the roads and the store stop the meter is still running. With a towncar there is 1 set price. No surprises at the end.
