Help finding reservation number/booked Orbitz

I booked through Orbitz awhile back for our upcoming trip. I have linked everything to MDE and have made FP reservations, not a problem. My issue is that the only confirmation number linked to my resort is a 6 character number beginning with a "Z". I was trying to plug this number in to the BOG FP link and it doesn't accept it. On another thread others explained to me that I need a long confirmation/reservation number starting with a 4. I do see these numbers linked to everything else, each a different number for each dining reservation.

Is the "Z" because of the Orbitz res? But that is the only number showing in MDE under my resort reservation.... so confused

I received two confirmations from Orbitz. One is a 10 digit Orbitz confirmation and the other was 6 characters, most of which were letters. I entered the latter code into MDE (the one with the letters) and MDE located it. When I booked through RunDisney, I also received a short code with letters and numbers that MDE accepted. I have not tried to use the short code with BOG fastpass.

Ok, I decided to call and ask for the number from Disney. Thought I was just missing it, but it really was never given to me. Talking to Disney through the 'resort' line, they did not have it either! Only the Orbitz number??! She transferred me to Wholesale who pulled up my reservation by name/date/resort and had it right there. So I was able to get it!

You have to use the 12 digit number that begins with a 4 in order to get a BOG fp. You can call Orbitz directly to get this number. That is what I did. It took them awhile since they had to call Disney to get the number, but they were able to do it.

I also received an email confirmation from Disney of my Orbitz reservation and the email included the 12 digit confirmation number.

If you are using the Magical Express and have received your luggage tags, then you can get the 12 digit number from the tags.

Disney has been sending out invitations to Be Our Guest fast pass and including the twelve digit number in the email. That email usually comes out three weeks or less before trip date.

I hope this helps someone:
After creating a MDE account and linking the Orbitz conf# to it, an email was sent to me and the 12-digit Disney # (starts with #4) was in it.

The email is from Disney Destinations and says,"Your Walt Disney World vacation magic..." If you open the email and scroll down, your disney conf# is there.
