We are enroute to DW with in-laws. They just realized their tickets are still at home(Illinois). Someone can FedEx them to us but we can't figure out if FedEx can overnight them on a Sunday. Does anybody know if FedEx is open on a Sunday????

Check their website or call customer service, to find out for sure.

I wonder (not sure)- is there just some number on them that a friend at home can relay/Disney could look it up and reprint?

I'm fairly certain that if you have the code/numbers from the tickets you can get replacements. I think this is what they do for lost tickets - I know at one point DH took picutes of the backs of ours to get the #'s. Hoping they have a nice neighbor with a spare key or garage code.

You should be able to get them reissued at Disney if you have the serial numbers off the back of the tickets. Check out post #13 on Cheshire Figment's ticket sticky for instructions:

BTW, I always photocopy the backs of tickets as soon as I get them. One copy goes in my carryon, one in my suitcase, and one is left with someone at home just in case! :rotfl2:

Edited to add: I checked the Fedex website, and locations in my area do not offer Sunday pickup. I don't know if that applies everywhere.

I would suggest the following steps. This will require some (but not much) coordination.

Go to your resort/hotel and ask what the hotel's fax number is.

Have the people take the tickets to somewhere that they can send a fax to you. Have them fax a copy of all the tickets to you. Make sure that the side that is sent is the one with all the letters and numbers, not the picture side.

Coordinate by phone as to when they will send the fax, possibly calling you just as the fax is being sent. Take the fax with the ticket information to any Park Ticket Window or Guest Relations Office and they will issue brand new tickets.

This will be much faster and cheaper than FedEx.

(Also see Post #13 in the link in m signature.)

You can easily get them reissued as long as you have the numbers off the back of the tickets. I lost my son's ticket on our last trip and went up with the number and the concierge reprinted it for me with no trouble. You could have someone fax a copy of the tickets to your hotel and then it would be really easy to get them reissued.

This is not a big deal - have everyone take a deep breath - cause I am sure you are all tense! Your tickets will be easily replaced and you should not miss anytime in the parks!

FED EX does not deliver on Sunday. Neither will UPS or any other major delivery service.

That's not true. Fedex does deliver on Sunday. You have to do same day delivery(very expensive). The following is taken directly from their website...

Does FedEx offer weekend delivery?

Yes. Saturday delivery is available with FedEx Priority Overnight (tender your shipment on a Friday) and FedEx 2-Day (tender your shipment on a Thursday) in the majority of US cities. An additional fee applies. For Sunday delivery, we offer FedEx SameDay within the US and FedEx International Next Flight for international deliveries. Call 1.800.GoFedEx 1.800.463.3339 to request.

The US Postal Service will deliver 365 days per year. They will deliver on all the major holidays, including Christmas Day.

I know this is OT, but how is that possible? I have never known USPS to deliver on Sundays or holidays. They are federal employees and get all federal holidays off.

Express Mail delivery. From usps.com:

"Express Mail Features
The fastest way to send packages.
Find the guaranteed delivery time
Delivery to most destinations 365 days a year – even Sundays and holidays."

Actually, they're not Federal employees (but they do still get really good benefits).

While the USPS may deliver 365 days a year, I don't think they do same day delivery and I don't think there's any way to actually mail anything on a Sunday. I mean, sure you can drop it in a mailbox (heck, my local PO building is open 24/7), but there's no way to process special treatment mail on a Sunday - nobody will see it until tonight, at the earliest.

Express mail is delivered in most areas 365 days a year.

On March 3, 2008, USPS® launched a new Express Mail Sunday and Holiday delivery service. For an additional fee of $12.50, your Express Mail article will be delivered on Sundays and federal holidays.

I wont brush the topic of federal or not, they are quasi-independent and are not funded by the federal govt. They generate their revenue solely on the sale of their services, stamps, etc.
