I was reading somewhere that if you buy an express pass at the park (i.e. you are not staying at an onsite hotel) they are good for the whole day but you can only ride each ride once? Is this true? For example, if I buy an express fastpass at the park I wouldnt be able to go on the hulk four times in a row using it like I would be able to do with the onsite resort key?

Yes. The express pass plus is only good for one ride per ride. There are other more expensive passes that you can get for unlimited rides. Check out the VIP ticket online. Not the VIP TOUR but the VIP TICKET.

That is true. The Express Pass that you purchase is only good for one time through the express line per attraction. It is not unlimited like it is when you stay onsite.

I have another question, If you stay on site do you get to use the onsite express access for both the check in date and the check out date? So if I book a room at royal pacific sept 26 and check out the next day on sept 27 could I use my key on both of those days?

Yes, one night stay gets you 2 days of unlimited express and early entry.:thumbsup2

depending on the date you go and the number in your party, you could come out ahead financially by booking one night stay onsite.

two days of unlimited express usage, early entry to potterville.

Just as a correction to info posted, you can also purchase an UNLIMITED Express at the parks as well as a seperate Express ticket if you already have admission tickets. It is available per day for one park or both. So you can choose between once time per attraction or the Unlimited option.

Looks to me like damo has this covered in Post #2. ;)

What Rahel is saying is basically that you can upgrade your ticket to a VIP ticket if you already have purchased your admission but would still like the unlimited express.

Oh yeah...this is the EP that you have to buy at the gate. I remember something about this about a year ago...I didn't know it was still being offered. What's the latest price? Have any idea?

From what Rahel posted in a prior thread,it sounds like it is just the difference between the current VIP ticket price less the price of admission.

The VIP ticket one day park to park goes from $169-$209 for value-peak seasons. A one day park to park ticket is $120...so the difference would be $49-$89---basically $25 or so more than the normal express pass plus ticket.

The point is...there is an option for someone who has already purchased their park tickets.

You have the option to purchase on a daily basis an express pass that is good for one time per ride or an unlimited express pass that is good for unlimited times per ride. You do not have to purchase the VIP Ticket to have an unlimited express pass. Either express pass option is not available for use on Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and Pteranodon Flyers in Islands or Adventure and Rip Ride Rocket in Universal Studios.
