I've been kicking myself in the behind this last week! I've been planning this trip to Disney World for over a year & I heard about the Epcot Storybook breakfast when it was in it's test run. I got confused I thought for awhile that I couldn't make PS until 60 days before. When I realized it was 120 days I called & they were sold out.  :( My question is, when is it the best time to start calling to see if there are any cancellations?? I want them for 12/7/02 for a party of 3, and since it is a Saturday, I don't think I'm going to have any luck. If I'm unable to find a cancellation, what do think I should do next to get a ressie? I'm desperate here and any advise would be appreciated!!

Thanks a bunch,
Katherine :(

Hi MamaKate,

I'm in the same boat as you are!:( My DH and I had plans to be at WDW from Oct 9-14. About a month ago, we decided to take our 4 yr old granddaughter along with us. Add to that, her other Grandma and Grandpa will be there one of the days we are there. I have been feverishly trying to get a cancellation for Oct 10--any time! That is the only day both grandmas will be able to be with little Katie.

I have been calling every day for the past month and nothing has opened up yet for the Princess Breakfast, but I was able to get a Cinderella reservation for later in the trip. So, things do open up--we just have to call at the right time.

I am going to try at the resort when we get there. And also see if there is any way to get to the restaurant to see if there are no-shows. I'll post when I get back to let you know what happened.

In the meantime, I would keep calling every day--you just never know what might happen!!:D :D

Good Luck!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

MamaKate maybe you still have a chance. Since some people will probably cancel if they are able to get into Cindy's at the 60-day mark. I wouldn't give up yet.

Try a different day. We wanted to change our day for our ressies and I tried for 12/7. (We will be at the World from 12/4-11). Our original choice was for 12/5, but since that is a Magic Hour day for MK, we wanted to change. The CM was able to get us in on Tuesday 12/10. I called last Sunday (not yesterday) and I had a choice of times. It seems that the weekend that we were there were booked, but some of the weekdays still had openings.

I would call to check for cancellations right up until you leave and then try when you are there. You just never know! As people's vacations get closer, they finalize their plans and if they are holding multiple ressies, they dump them at the last minute.

GOOD LUCK

I first found out about the new princess breakfast about three weeks ago I was hoping to go on our up coming trip which is in two weeks. I have called about three times a week to see if there was an opening but I have had no luck yet.
I too will be trying at out resort once we check in.

I'm looking for Oct. 7 (my daughter's birthday). The CM I spoke to on the phone today said I could try to just "walk in" - check the same day to see if there are cancellations. Unfortunately, we have the Cinderella breakfast already booked, and will need to cancel 24 hrs. in advance if we want our deposit back. I am not cancelling that unless I can get the Storybook. I just don't think it's going to happen...but I'll keep trying.

Has anyone ever heard of having Cinderella's as a back-up?? ;)

I'll let you know how things turn out next week.
