HELP! Ebay/Paypal problem!!

Grrrr...I am banning DH from Ebay - LOL

I'd appreciate some adivce from some Ebay pros please.

DH bid on an item this weekend from a new seller with 0 feedback ( despite my warnings!) He paid immediately with Paypal. This morning we get a angry email from the seller asking why Paypal has held the payment along with a forwarded copy of the letter from Paypal - I check online there are no warnings on my account that it is being held - it shows transaction completed. I call and talk to someone at PayPal - they said that all funds going to that seller are onhold because of a problem with multiple acct with this person. - Ok so this is the seller's problem - The Paypal Rep tells me he will put the money back in our acct - Ok - Then he tells me to contact Ebay - OK - I do - but now what - I am still waiting to hear from EBay about what to do - I am glad we got our money back however I have a feeling I am going to be stuck with a negitive feedback from this seller - Can and will Ebay remove an ended auction due to Paypal fraud?

I am so telling DH "I told you so!!" right now.

Don't have an answer for you but I know these guys will. Go to ebay, click on community on top of the page and go to the answer center. Post this question there and they will be able to give you the advice you need to avoid getting a negative from the seller.
