Please help DW and I with a romantic kids free dinner night out on our next trip - I have listed all the places we are interested in after checking menus on Deb's site
I went with Artist Point. Actually, Jiko is my favorite on the list, but I just think AP has a more romantic feel to it. Some of the others seem a tad busy for the romantic feel as well.
The reason I choose Calif. Grill is because you can watch the fireworks...how romantic! You can snuggle up for the 10 min. display out on the observation deck.
The food is awesome, although as one other poster mentioned it is a little loud. You could ask if they will seat you in the "wine celler". It's back in the corner and it's more quiet.
Jiko would definately be a first choice also, if you're not into fireworks and all that. It's quiet, low lighting, very romantic, you can stroll around AKL and look at the animals. The food is incrediable! Good luck with your decision!
You're far less likely to have shidren around if you eat at Citrico's. it's MUCH quieter and more romantic. The CG can get deafening, lots of kids, and not all tables have a fireworks view.
i selected Artist Point simply because i love the lodge. and the food is wonderful here. however, there is absolutely nothing wrong w/california grill or jiko's. any of those would be fabulous!! have a romantic dinner wherever you decide.
