HELP! DS is asking to see characters that aren't at WDW!

My DS today told me that he wanted to see Genie (ok he is at WDW), Elliott (Petes Dragon), and the Phineas & Ferb characters. I told him Elliott moved back to the lighthouse, but I'm not sure what to say about Phineas and Ferb. I'm sure once we get there he will forget about it (I hope), but what do you say if your kids ask about a character that isn't out to meet? Thanks!

How old is ds? I wouldn't worry too much about it - with all the characters that are there, he'll likely get distracted. If my kids have ever asked why so-and-so isn't there I usually say 'That's not a Disney character' or 'He/She doesn't live at Disneyworld with Mickey'. No biggie - tons to see and do there!

I know what you mean! My dd is starting to watch Hannah Montanna and Jonas Bro. I guess since Disney channel is the only channel that seems to work in my house she ws bound to move on from the cartoons to the "real people" So now when I ask her who she wants to see in WDW when we go next month she Says "Hanna Tanna" or "Jonas"! Well we all know that is going to happen!

Actually Marie is out almost all the time now inf France at Epcot!

To the OP. Genie doesn't meet at WDW anymore except on special occassions

But I agree with the PP who stated that they are going to be WAAAAY too distracted by the number of characters who are there. (On our 8 day trip we had over 50 signatures in the autograph book). They will not be disappointed!!!

He is in move it, shake it, but he doesn't actually "meet" and take pics etc.

My daughters at first kept saying we will see Hannah,

I told them that the movie stars tend to stay at Disney Land because its in Cali. They started asking to go there, with them you can never win....

But the best part of being a parent is the fun of redirecting their little brains on to some new topic....

Not for a meet and greet, but Elliot from Pete's Dragon is a float during the Main Street Electrical Parade which will begin in June.
