Help...Dreams Unlimited

I have never used Dreams Unlimited. However, it is my understanding from this board that DU will watch for codes and adjust your rate if any come out. So you could go ahead and book your trip and let them watch for you.

I booked my Dec. trip in May for PopCentury. Then I got an email rate and called my TA who adjusted my ressie actually upgrading us to CBR. So I think that you should be safe to book now.

I also think that some DU agents frequent this board and I know that alot of people have used them, so you should get a lot of feedback.

I booked with DU for my trip in July and was even able to add ressies for my DB's family 2 weeks before the trip at a discounted rate with no problems. I'm going again in September for a short trip and DU is handling the ressie for that trip, too. They were able to get me AP discounts on the rooms each time. If there's a discount available for your room, DU will get it.

Not only can they handle your room ressies, they will also make your PSs and other recreational reservations. It can really save you time and money spent on long distance. I highly recommend using them!
 
Do you think you can still get the best deal going through DU or trying to book it all on your own? I must say I do like the convenience of them checking rates and codes.::MinnieMo
 

To be honest, if I thought that I could do a better job of getting the discounts on my own, I'd have booked the rooms myself. DU saved me the cost & aggrevation of calling CRO several times and waiting on hold or chatting up a CM while they looked for the discounts or modified my ressies. If I knew that AP discounts were coming out, I just sent a reminder to my DU agent and she handled the rest. I could have handled it all on my own but DU made it so much easier to achieve the same results.
 
I have emailed DU twice to ask about something and they have not acknowledged either email.
 
You have e-mailed DU twice and not heard back? That shocks me. I am working with them now on a Dec. 2005 trip. They have always e-mailed me within 12 hours and several timesthey have responded within minutes.

I'm trying to book a package to DL in June 2005. The website doesn't go to past 2004. Am I going to the wrong place?

I just went through the reservation quote link on their package deal page and they got back with me. Mine is WDW not DL , so maybe thats different.

My Dreams agent told me that they can only book ressies a year out, but I emailed her directly with my dates and then she sent me the link through email so I could see my info and decide if it was what I wanted.
Try emailing my agent cmiller@mail.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com with the info you need and see if she can help you. I'm not sure why the site stops at 2004 since my agent said they can book a year out and we are in August and you're trying to book for June.

WE'VE USED THEM BEFORE, GREAT DEALS AND EXCELLENT SERVICE. If there is a deal to be had, these folks will find it.
 
Just used them for our August trip and they were FAB!!! I worked with Marsha and she handled everything with ease and such a friendly manner. I totally recommend them!!!

How far in advance did you book? Would love to hear your experiences? eg what prices you were offered, package suggestions by DU etc. Did your initial quote change over time until you took your trip?

Just found discounts on Mousesaver.com - does DU offer the same discounts?

Who is the question directed to? To answer your second question, yes DU offers the same discounts you see on Mousesavers! ::yes:: :teeth:
 
Hi,

We've currently booked our 3rd trip with DU and have always found them to be wonderful. But the best thing they do for us being in Australia is book all the PSs you require. I think that is worth it's weight in gold ... and it's free.

This will be my first trip to WDW. Very confused at the moment...can anyone help?

Have made WL reservations for January with DU at rack rates.

To get the code discounts - is it first in first served? Or will DU offer the codes discounts automatically because I have already booked?

Are there a limited number of discount offered? If lots of people have aready booked is there a waiting listing for discounts?
 
I actually just checked with my own DU agent about this yesterday (we are still waiting on AP rates for October) and she said they will try and get the discounted rates automatically - I don't need to remind her or chase her to do it. Again, one less thing to worry about. Now I just have to worry what we will do if the rates don't come out.
