Help. [Dream Prizes]

There could be 50, 60, 70,000 people on a given day. It seems random and the expectation should be that one will not be dreamed.

My youngest 2 childen received lanyards getting off Buzz Lightyear at WDW in Sept. Other then that nothing else for us. Oh well I have to admit I don't look for them either, I just go and enjoy my day and try to keep th kids from arguing with each other!:sad2:

2 of my 3 Dream FPs were in the AM on fairly popular rides: preboard area for the first screening of Soarin' at Epcot and exit area for Splash at Disneyland at around 10 AM. My other Dream FP was the Frontierland load area for the WDW Railroad. The funny thing is that I was ON the train at the time coming from Main Street, but my family was waiting to board at FL. The Dream Squad wouldn't give them an extra FP for me, so I hopped off the train and RAN back up to the load area -- and thankfully made it in time before they ran out!

At any rate, it seems that smaller prizes (like Dream FPs) are given in places where the Dream Squad has an opportunity to distribute to fairly massive numbers of people in a fairly short amount of time. The times I've won, the Dream Squad had been practically invisible to other Guests who were not in that particular queue, so it was interesting to read dragonflymom's experience. What a fun mental image of all those people leaving the Meet 'n' Greet to catch a Dream!

We were dreamed this past week in DTD outside of the bar Catal. We were heading back to the park from DLH after naps. We received dream Mickey ears. It was at 3:00 in the afternoon. I also saw the dream team handing out dream ears at this same place at around noon on a different day. I was surprised to see them outside of the park. However, I was so excited to get dream ears.

We have been "dreamed" at DL 4x. 3x were Dream FPs (all 3x were near the castle about 30 minutes after the park opened) and once was lanyards(coming out of Tiki Room in the afternoon). We were also received Dream FPs for AK in WDW 2x in one week. Both times it was coming off of a ride. The CMs were standing in the ride exit, so you wouldn't have seen them unless you had been on that ride.

Last Sunday(2/24) about 8:30 AM, in the rain, we were cutting into Tomorrowland heading toward the Tomorrowland Terrace when a Cast member was standing on the walkway handing out Dream Fast Passes. :thumbsup2

Someone I know got the night in Mickey Mouse Penthouse, plus fast passes, parade grand marshall, and dinner at Blue Bayou while exiting the Peter Pan ride.

but just had to say hello!! i saw your pix, and thought you looked "familiar"...and looked over at your dis name!! :flower:

 I looked like a familiar drowned rat, LOL! A little bit of rain out there that week, huh?

We've been dreamed twice. The first time was over by the wishing well at the castle, early morning. Bad part was that I was just with my two year old daughter. My hubby had taken our three older boys on the Matterhorn. So, was kind of a waste for us, but fortunately, the park was not crowded at all that day and wait times for rides were minimal.

Second time was coming off of Buzz Lightyear. Hubby and the boys received dream ears.

Hello,

By now i'm sure you've seen many threads with advice on how to obtain a dream prize. In March, I will be going to Disneyland with my
family. In 2006/2007 we went five times. Every trip, we saw the dream squad and just missed them. It's our dream to obtain one of
those coveted Dream Fastpasses. This trip, we're determined. If you have won any prize from the Dream Squad, please tell me:

What day of the week it was
approx. what time
&
where in the parks you were

Thank You

I won some of the dream fastpasses things when I was there in July.

It's random, so that takes care of the day and time. (If it helps, I think it was either around 8 something or 9 a.m.) But, my family got ours next to the Buzz Lightyear Astro blasters ride. I got this pic off another thread:

Look on the left, you see the rail? We got ours in that little courtyard right there. It was really cool.

We were dreamed twice on our trip last week.

The first was in Downtown Disney, surprisingly. I saw a bunch of people walking in front of us with dream ears and I said to DH "aw, they got dreamed!". Then I looked over a bit and saw 2 people in white with stacks of ears in their hands! I walked briskly up to him and DH summoned our sons over to get theirs. DH went to grab the one he was handing to our 9 month old in the stroller and the man said "I have to hand it to him". He then touched the arm of our sleeping baby with the hat and then handed it to DH. :)

Our second dream was on the last day of our trip! We were over by Snow White when a man from Australia said they were giving out fast pass lanyards over by King Triton. We all ran over and each got one- including our 9 month old! We were thrilled to be dreamed but bummed we couldn't use them as we were leaving at 1 pm. We handed all but 1 to a nice man coming into the park. The other one we kept for a keepsake. :)

AmazingSpidey: that's where we got ours too! There are definitely places one needs to frequent if you want to get dreamed.

Wow, that's awesome. We were there last week and didn't get dreamed but we weren't really expecting anything. But congrats to your family :woohoo:

Haha, cool. Yeah, we were exiting Buzz, and we saw an older man coming from back there, with one on his neck. My sister and I spotted the lady handing them out, and, needless to say, hustled down there. Our mom and dad followed, and we all got them. It was really cool, saved a lot of time. :worship:

- I received a mouse ears hat this morning inside Tower of Terror. The Dream Team was inside the Library where you see the Rod Serling video. After the exit doors opened they made an announcement that we had all won YoMD prizes, and handed each one of us a hat as we exited.

- About two months ago I received a YoMD lanyard at the exit of the Tarzan Treehouse. The Dream Team was just inside the exit, and was handing out lanyards only to people who had gone through the attraction. I saw someone outside the ride ask for a lanyard and they said you had to be exiting the attraction.

Last June my family and I were given a fastpass pack from the Dream Squad. :woohoo: It had a fast pass to every ride (that had fastpass machines) on it. :thumbsup2 We were in DCA right when it opened so it was around 10:00a.m. but I don't remember the day. The Dream Squad was standing in front of The Vineyard Room.

Yesterday (Sun., 3/9) we were walking from Frontierland to Tomorrowland and I heard someone behind us ask "Where did you get those?" I quickly turned around (as I was on the lookout for "A Dream") and the women told the teenager she got them (Dream Fastpasses) over by King Triton's Fountain. DD8 and I ran over and scored 2! I was so happy, I almost did a dance (but instead I went to go to the restroom, you know what happens if you have to run and you're a women over 40!). This was about 10 ish in the a.m. The park opened at 8 a.m. yesterday. We arrived about 9 a.m. I told almost everyone I passed by if they wanted a Dream Fastpass, where to get them. I was surprised that only about 1/2 knew what they were, and even after explaining them, didn't seem all that interested. :confused3 And yesterday was a great day to have them as the parks got very busy! Spring break in AZ has started and I think they all came to DLR! If we didn't have the FP we wouldn't have stayed as long as we did. We ended up staying from 9-7 which is a long day for us since we have AP.

Our first stop, yesterday, was Indy ride since we have gotten 2 dreams there recently. Both times we were there when the park opened and Indy was our first ride of the day. The first time they were handing out Dream Fastpasses in the exit tunnel. So, that was first thing in the a.m., Wed., Jan. 23rd. (about 9:30 a.m.) We didn't use them that day though since the park wasn't crowded and most of the fastpass entrances were closed. A nice souvenir though.

The second time was Monday, Feb. 11.. We returned to Indy ride to see if we would get lucky again. And lo, and behold, there they were again given out Dream Hats. This was within an hour, or so, of park opening. Then later after we crossed over to DCA I saw some Dream Makers behind the S.S.Rustworthy, by Pizza Oom Mow Mow. I ran over there, hoping for Dream Passes, but got tickets (on neck thingies just like Dream FP) for an extra hour in the park, that night. I told many people about it, and where to get it, while DD was riding MM. The DT was still there about 1/2 hour later (they had alot of the passes). This was about 11 a.m. I did check that area yesterday but didn't see anyone.

Now, all of last year we failed to get any Dreams and that even included our trip to WDW in Sept. We never even saw the Dream Makers. Maybe they are giving out more this year:woohoo: . And/or it's because we are getting to DLR earlier in the day.

So, to recap.:
Jan. 23, Wed., DL, first thing in a.m. Indy exit tunnel Dream FP
Feb. 11, Monday, DL, first thing in a.m., Indy exit tunnel, hats
Feb. 11, Monday, DCA, 11 a.m., S.S.Rustworthy, extra hour in the park
Mar. 9, Sunday, DL, 10 a.m., King Triton Fountain, Dream FP

HTH. :yay:

Does anyone have a pictures of the Dream Team with there white vests? This is our first trip to DL and I would love to get anything :lovestruc I want to know what I am looking for.
