Help! Doing online check in now!

So I thought I had all my ducks in a row, but I guess not!! First, I am not seeing a check in button on my desktop, only on the app. Could you tell me exactly where I should be looking on the DCL site on my desktop? I checked under the online check in and my reservations tabs and don't see it. Second, what type of ID do they want for the second one after the passport? I thought you just needed a passport but its asking me to upload a second one? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

It was very glitchy when I checked in last week - supposedly there were multiple cruises all checking in at the same time. Just use the app if you only see check-in on there. It will kick out you out to do it on a browser anyway. The 2nd picture is just any headshot. It said they use it to identify you on board. You can't be wearing anything on your head or sunglasses, but otherwise any normal pic will do I think. Or you can just take a selfie and use that.

Often, the website will look as though you're logged in, but you aren't really logged in. I don't know why this happens, but it does happen rather frequently. If you log in again, then it might actually work.

Did you finally get through? That's exactly what was going on to myself and others last week...pretty frustrating, but it eventually worked. I think enough people finally gave up that it stopped being bogged down.

I did finally get it to work! I had to check in our first staterooms on my phone app since the laptop site would not give me the link to check in for a long time after 1200 ET. By the time I got to the third stateroom, I was able to do it on my laptop which was SO much easier! Unfortunately I couldn't get the same PAT for rooms 2 and 3 due to the long amount of time it took to get it accomplished. :( If there's just a 15 minute difference, do you think they will let us all check in at the earlier time or will we have to wait for the later time?

We had the same situation with two different PATs 15 minutes apart. Since we were all in the same group, they allowed the group with the later PAT checkin with us.

Unfortunately, if you all want to board together you will have to wait for the latest boarding number. If you have boarding positions of 3 , 4 and 8, you will have to wait till #8 is called to go together.
 
I had the same problem. No check-in button on my laptop. I logged out and logged back in several times, I shut down my computer and logged back in, nothing worked. I was able to check-in through the app and then a couple days later went back in and was able to get a better PAT. I am doing a B2B so when it was check-in time for me again, still nothing on my laptop. So I immediately went to the app. Keep checking the PATs. An earlier time may show up for the other rooms.

Looks like my message disappeared.:confused3 So I will repost. I had the same problem. The check-in link did not show up on my laptop. I logged out and logged back in several times and nothing. I turned off the computer and turned it on and logged in and nothing. I was able to check-in through the app. I am doing a B2B and the same thing happened again. The next day when I checked my computer, it did show "check-in status pending" where the check-in button was suppose to be. Maybe it has to do with my time zone. I'm 6 hours from EST.
Keeping checking the PATs. Maybe an earlier time will show up for the other rooms. I did and I got an earlier time for the 1st part of my B2B.
