Help! Do I need to reverse words before I print them out?

Hi Everyone!
I am going to be making a couple tee's shortly. Are there any tips you would like to give me?

I have only one question before I print anything out on transfers. If a design has writing on it do I need to do anything special to it so it will iron on to my tee reading the "correct" way? I have some that have my name on them. I have heard that some people need to Mirror their images but I am not sure how to do this or if I need to.

Any help, instructions on what to do would be really appreciated.

If you are using "Light Transfer Paper" then your whole image needs to be mirror.

If you are using "Dark Transfer Paper" then nothing needs to be mirrored.

The package that your paper came in should have all the directions on it that you need.

Transfer paper is not all universal. It is very important to read your directions. MOST dark trasfer paper does not need to be reversed but I have heard of some that do require the image to be flipped. But as a general rule, white needs to be flipped - dark does not. Read your directions very carefully!

The way you flip depends on the software you are printing from. Like in Photo Paint (which I believe comes with most computers) you can simply choose Image>Flip>Horizontal. Some sofware programs have the option when you are printing.
