Help! Do any of the nicer Disney restaurants allow outside cake vendors?

We have been working on our cake with It's Tasty Too! for about two months now. Today I received an email asking to please make sure Narcoossee's will allow them to deliver our cake as some restaurants don't allow the use of outside vendors. Sure enough, Narcoossee's said we would have to use their vendor, unless we wanted to bring the cake and keep it at our table through dinner. They wouldn't be able to store it or bring it out to us. That's fine, but we just finalized the details with our own vendor and don't want to switch to Disney's, where they will literally charge us 4 times what It's Tasty Too! is charging us. Instead, we'd rather give up Narcoossee's and go somewhere that will allow them to deliver there. Does anyone know of nice restaurants (not in the parks, we'll be dressed in wedding attire) that allow the use of outside cake vendors? Thanks so much.

I know Il Mulino does but I think they charge a small serving fee. We're using their private room for our VR reception and they were willing to discount our menu by $5 for dropping the included dessert off and going with cake - but in the end we decided to keep their dessert.

None of the Disney restaurants are allowed to store cakes made by outside vendors due to health regulations. Disney won't even store cakes made by Disney after they've been served (for example, if you wanted to leave the cake while you go into the park).

When you read about people having outside cakes at Disney restaurants, it's because they brought them into (or met the delivery person at) the restaurant themselves. Is it a huge deal to have the cake sitting at your table the entire time? It might make a nice centerpiece! Or it might make you want to have dessert first... :rotfl:

I met the cake vendor at O'hana 10 minutes before our reservation. O'hana did allow me to go ahead of the rest of my party and place the cake on the table..sort of as a center piece and because it was a surprise for DH. They were very accommodating and provided a knife to cut it and a box to take it home in. :goodvibes
