HELP!!!! Digital camera question

To whom it may concern, that would be all the techie gods out there that are in the know when it comes to techie gear, I have a digital camera question. My wife owns a HP digital camera (don't know model or anything), and we've taken a lot of pictures with it over the last 3 years. Lately, it seem that when we take a picture we're not able to download it on to the computer. In other words, when I insert the disk into the computer to download the photo's I've just taken, the photos don't appear to be on the disk. However, when I insert the disk back into the camera, I can view the photos on the camera. I've even used the cable that came with the camera and tried downloading it that way but to no avail. I'm at a loss. I want to download the photos but can't. Help!!!!

Check two things first. Is the card full? second check to see if your camera has any memory built into the camera. If the card is full it will overflow the images you take too the built in memory. If that is the case then you will need to move all the pics off the card and then move the pics in the internal memory onto the card.

I have one card that won't work in my computer's card reader for some reason. It's obviously the card because I have a few and it's the only one that doesn't work. It functions in the camera fine, but not in the reader.

You might want to try transferring via USB.
