My DH has really wide feet and I have not had any luck finding him any sandals to wear in the World. I bought some New Balance ones in wide width but they hurt his heel. I have Teva's and love them but I haven't been able to find any sandals like Teva's (he likes the way the straps are on Tevas) in a wide width. Any suggestions of websites or stores where I could find some wide width sandals? :confused3

Would he ever consider Crocs? My DH has very wide feet and loves them as much as the rest of us do.

That's my suggestion, too.

My DH does too... I saw a pair of Tevas in his size in a Wide width yesterday at DSW (a big discount shoe store)... I put them back & am kicking myself now!

I'd also reccomend DSW. I don't know if this store is in your area, but I found that they have a good selection of wide width shoes. Surprisingly, check Walmart also. I have wide feet also, and these are the two stores that I've always had good luck in.

look for Dunham's - it's a division of New Balance, DH has sandals, casual leather shoes and dress shoes all by dunham. I've purchased them all online, they have run true to size. depending on the style, they come in D 2E 4E and 6E widths. DH needs an extra wide (4E) which are hard to find here, so now that we've discovered Dunham's, we just look online to find something he likes and order it.

I have "Flintstone" feet and the Croc Athens II flip-flops are comfy on me.

I too have super wide feet- i usually buy mens shoes as womens wide withs are not wide enough- i have a eee width- yesterday i got a pair of sandals (mens) at Kohl's.They were OP (ocean pacific). They are like tevas, and they fit me just fine - plus i got them for 14.99 whoo hoo! They are called Swamp Thing.

Wow! Thank you for mentioning this! My BF has size 15 WIDE feet and we have the hardest time finding him shoes. I'm definitely going to have to order some for him here. I had never heard of Dunhams before! Really good selection too! WOOHOO!! :woohoo:

Sherrie - I also have very wide feet. I never thought of trying men's shoes. How would I convert the sizes? I have an 8 1/2 ee. Thanks

I would also check out Nordstroms they usually carry quite a few things in widths.

To get your men's ize you just need to subtract two sizes. So you would be a 6 1/2 in men's shoe sizes. Also in Men's a D is considered a medium width vs a B being a medium width in Women's

Thank you! DSW here I come! :teeth:

My teenage son has very wide feet. He wears New Balance sneakers in extra wide which I order from a website called zappos. They probably have wide sandals too. There isn't any charge for shipping to you or return shipping either. Also, I bought him sandals at Target, but they are just the pool kind. The brand was Speedo.
