Help! Desperately Seeking Mickey Waffles!

DD and I are staying at a resort that doesn't serve Mickey waffles (what was I thinking!!!) , and I'm searching for character breakfasts that serve them. I've checked Deb's menus at WDWInfo, but the ones that serve waffles don't specify MM waffles. Has anyone had them at character breakfasts, and if so, which breakfasts?

Keep in mind, DD will be 13 by the time we go to WDW. She's asked if we're renting a car in case we have to go to another resort for breakfast one day.

This girl *loves* her Mickey waffles.

Any suggestions?

I'm pretty sure I remember them at Cape May Cafe last December. I also think I had them at Trail's End, but that's not a character meal.

Oh-I should have been more clear. It doesn't have to be a character breakfast at all. DD has declined character breakfasts for the past 3 years, so that's not a big deal.

I just don't want to have to rent a car for Mickey waffles!

Chef Mickey's had them on the breakfast buffet as of late March. And, to quote Rachael Ray of Food Network fame, they were "yummo!"

They had good MM waffles AND pancakes at DL... didn't find them at WDW

PS: I know the POP food court has MM waffles as part of the kid's breakfast
You get very good apple sauce with that too

Just remember there are 2 types of mickey waffles the big one and little ones (my faves).
I know for sure that Pop century, spoodles and trails end have the small ones. And I heard Ohana also has the small ones.
Concourse has the big one.

Dis31-We *are* staying at OKW, but I couldn't find them listed on the menus. Are they a special order? Are they the big waffles?

<sigh> I had *no* idea breakfast would be so difficult! We usually stay where there is a food court and waffles a-plenty. DD always looks forward to breakfast and the waffles-just one of those first Disney memories that happened to stick with her. Now, when we go, it's kind of her 'tradition'. This is our first trip 'home' (just bought DVC in April), and I didn't realize that the waffles weren't part of many of the DVC resorts.

I think I'll just cancel my membership!

We got em at Chef Mickeys and at Crystal palace in April.In past we got them at ASMU food court.

On allearsnet, at OKW at Olivia's Cafe, they do have Mickey waffles listed under the kids menu. I'm betting that you could have them charge for them as an adult breakfast item if you asked. Here's the link:

There listed on the childrens menu, but im sure you could get an adult size as well, i think there the little ones(there better anyway lol)

I think I might still try to get 1900 Park Fare for breakfast. Might be nice to see how the 'other half' lives!

It's an item on the kid's menu at POP. DBf and I had them on our last trip for breakfast at POP. DBf ordered the regular POP waffle and I had the kids mickey waffle. I didn't care if it's a kids item or not, I just want my mickey waffle!
