Can anyone help me decide which parks to do on which days? We have park hopper tickets and are going Saturday Nov 19th thru Friday Nov 25th. We arrive the 18th and leave the 26th. My DH birthday is Thursday the 24th (Thanksgiving day). He wants to eat at Le Cellier for a good steak on his birthday. We have DD9 and DS3. I am having trouble picking park days and eating places. We are on the dining plan also. We want to go to CRT, CM, CP, Whispering Canyon, Sci Fi, and maybe Princess Storybook and I still have 2 TS left. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I decided on which parks to visit based on when each has the extra magic hours, and then the restaurants on which parks we would be at on a particular day (and which resorts are nearby).

Not sure if that's much help, but it's what worked for me.

did you go to the parks during EMH? I was wondering if they get extra crowded for the morning EMH? What I have read so far, the week of Thanksgiving is not too crowded until the Wednesday before Thanksgiving then it is really crowded.

check out the "best park days" site. (I can never remember where it is exactly so you will have to do a search  ) It tells you which park is your best bet and which one to avoid--i.e. most crowded.

I'll try to find it again and post it. Then you only have to "get" those dinner ressie for the days planned :rotfl: I was in a fluster 'cause I didn't get CRT for my planned MK day but a week later I saw a post of someone cancelling just what I wanted and I GOT IT!!! :cool1: Good luck and have fun planning :wizard:

We did this same time a few years ago and it was great!

Where are you staying? Do you have reservations for Thanksgiving! I know you can usually make these earlier but not sure when. Reservations fill up fast. We stayed at the BCV so we ate at Cape May. They had the usual menu PLUS all the Thanksgiving stuff. We did not go to a park on Thanksgiving. We went to the pool, ate early and then went shopping at DTD. If you go to a park, I would avoid MK. We also avoided MK on Wed. We got as much time in at MK on Sun & Tues.

THe year we were there they had the Osbourne lights open on Wed. so we went to MGM that night. We also tried to check out a lot of the xmas decorations by eating or stopping at a few different resorts.

WE have found that if you get there right when the parks open, it is worth going on EMH (at least for the morning). If you are not going to get there early, then I would avoid that park. I think for this time of year, it is more important to try and visit the MK EARLY in the week!

we are staying at Pop Century - I think we can start making ADR Aug 19th. Thank you for all the info. I know where we want to eat just not which days to do them on. It would be nice to know what time each park stays open to know if we should eat early or later. Hopefully we will be able to get my DD9 up to do the early EMH. My DS3 is up at 5:30 every morning. I just couldn't decide if we should do MK first with CRT on the first day, Or save that for the second day. Do you think DD9 will like the other parks after seeing MK first?

There are things to like at all the parks. My DD was 9 when we were there for Thanksgiving and my twin boys were 4. I would try and get CRT on the 1st day and if you don't get it, then try for the 2nd.

Remember you don't have to spend the whole day at one park. We usually try to start at the EMH park and then around 12:00 try to head to the hotel for swimming/break. Then around 3 we would go to a different park for the night. If it was too cold to swim, then we would take the monorail to a different park. The kids like the long monorail ride from MK/EPCOT. Or you can take the boat from MGM/EPCOT - maybe stop at the BW or BC for lunch or dinner. The decorations are so great this time of year that it is really fun to see as many resorts as possible.
