Yippee my first post.........I have been using your great advice for years and wanted to be part of the club. :goofy: :earboy2:
Now, I need help! We LOVE the Epcot area resorts and are trying to decide between the Boardwalk and the Yacht Club. Here are the facts:
2 families traveling together. 4 per room (2 adults and 2 teenagers). I am traveling with my DH, and 2 DS (age 12 and 13) They are not small kids, my younger one is very athletic and has the build to prove it and my older one is approx 5'5". My DH is 6' and I am 5'10" with a bad neck. I like the idea of the day bed (in case my neck goes out) but have heard the BW is a childs size and the YC is a full size twin. Does anyone know if this is correct? Also it looks as if there is just a few square foot difference. Will we notice it? I HATE :sad2: making decisions. There are sooooo many options at WDW. I just am soooooo happy to be going!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Plus it is a surprise for all of our kids.......:thumbsup2
Thanks for the help! I can't wait to hear from all of you experts.

PS We will start our New Year there from Jan 1~~Jan 7.party:

its been 10 years since I stayed at the bwi, stayed at the yc last october. both daybeds looked to be the same size. however, think since your kids are so tall, they will likely not be comfortable on it. my 5 year old slept on the one at the yc with no problems. I could lay on it with no problems, either, but I'm 5'2"

Stayed at the BWV last year, but Beach Club is our all time favorite resort. This time we were faced with BW or YC... hands down we decided YC (or rather, DD did). Better pool. She hated the pool at BW last year. The daybed in YC we were told is a twin size.

I love the Epcot area too but have found the BC/YC (we have stayed at the YC) to be way to busy and crowded for us to enjoy ourselves....we stay at the Swan and the price is about 1/2 per night than at the other 2 resorts.

Thanks for all the info, I appreciate it!
We actually were going to stay at the Swan (we have a lot of starpoints for Westin) but we found out we could not use the Magic Express, charge to our room or do the Dining Plan when staying there. Bummer. I do like that hotel though.
