I’am asking for a friend. It’s trip #1 for their family and will be visiting for 1 week. Kids ages 7 & 5. I believe her options are Poly Studio and 1 BR Villa @ WL, BC, and RR.
All input comes very appreciated. She is having such a hard time making a decision.

Have a Blessed Day & Happy Vtines Day:)

Poly studios are nice, and I love the resort. I don’t think she’d go wrong there.
My favorite 1BR are BLT and Kidani for the extra full bath. Poly has one full bath and one bathroom with a shower & sink which might be fine for young kids.

I would do the Poly. It’s a great resort and on the monorail. The studio would be fine for her unless she is looking for a full kitchen.

If mostly MK, I would pick the Wilderness Lodge area...1 bedroom.

Focus it based on the parks they most want to frequent. Poly is great for MK, BC is better for EPCOT/HS. Personally we love the walkability from BC and the pool there can't be beat.

My vote would be for BC. Stormaway Bay is incredible! The kids will love the sandbottom pool.

With kids I would certainly do a one bedroom. That would be my first choice and if they are first timers, they won't have anything to compare it to anyway. After a one bedroom, I would choose location, so BC would be my choice so they can walk to Epcot and MGM and of course, have the BW in the evenings.

Let us know where they end up.

with ages 5&7 I would do poly. Kids love the monorail and dole whip lanai station on property is my daughters favorite thing in the world. Bonus is the kids splash area. Poly hands down

I really like the Poly too, but I'm more for having space. In a one bedroom, they have a full kitchen and fridge, washer and dryer and two TVs (which is nice for vegging at night). Also, it's nice to hang and not have the kids right on top of you LOL

With the Poly, they can easily get to MK via the monorail or boat , they can also walk across to the TTC, to take the monorail to Epcot, plus easily check out the other monorail resorts and do character dining. If they want 1BR, I would choose BLT, for the second full bathroom. We have stayed at both numerous times, love them both!

BCV, CCV and BRV do not have a murphy bed in the one bedroom. So the two children would be sharing the queen sized sleeper sofa. Or if both sexes, mom with daughter in one bed and son with dad in the other. It might not even be an issue, but you want to make sure she isn't expecting a murphy bed for one of the kids. But with four people, I'd go with the one bedroom and not the studio. It's just nice to have the space. And a washer and dryer right in the villa.

With WL, you'll need to specify between Boulder Ridge and Copper Creek since they are both at the WL. If both of the kids are great swimmers, BCV has access to Stormalong Bay. It's very hard to watch two kids unless each parent follows a kid.

1BR over studio every time, that’s the most important choice. That’s why we don’t own Poly. BLT and BCV are both great choices.

Thank U everyone for awesome advice. I have shared ur thoughts and will let u know as soon as she makes her final decision over the next couple of days.

Have a great weekend!
