I am biting my nails deciding between two houses. The owner is the same for both and both very high quality. Both have the same bed layout and a pool and spa. My main problem will be how much weight to give the pool heat. We will be going the end of January and early February.

a) House in Indian Creek -
Pool has gas heat and can maybe handle the cold night temps while we are there.
Closer to Disney
We would have to leave on a Saturday instead of a Sunday because of another reservation.

b) House in Calabria
A little farther from Disney
Theme we like a little better. (Star Wars on this one, general Disney on the other)
The pool heater is of a type that turns off below 50F and struggles to catch up the temp when it gets really cold.

Being the same owner, they also have many of the same smaller details. Like the same equipment in the game room.
We decided to go for a house with a pool that can be heated instead of some place with a waterpark-level pool in the complex.

Also, the house I would really really like to stay, probably doesn't have enough bedrooms but has an amazing theme. The one in Calabria is a similar theme to that one, but still being decorated. It was bought recently and is clean and has nice stuff. My hope is that by January it will have the same drool-worthy theming as their one that is too small.

All I can say is that the pool heat was a must for us in December and it only became comfortable for us when set to 90. The outside air temp was in the 40s at night.

I think I've decided to go for House A for the better pool heat. The decision was such a nail biter that if one had different game room equipment, I would have decided on that.

If you are going to the parks for full days ....... you will be tired

So Does Theming of bedrooms really matter

Again as you will be out all day ..... Do you really want to spend time in a games room ?

I think you are thinking to much about the furniture Rather than enjoying your vacation

I just now booked it. I had started to do that twice, then I realized that DH had my wallet. Any of the houses under consideration would have been fine. I was just trying to find a way to decide that didn't involve flipping a coin. It is a huge relief to have a house reserved. We will be staying in the house 15 nights and have 10-day Disney tickets. DH and I will be 51 and the other couple coming are a bit older. So, we will be spending some time in the house. I look forward to putting my tired feet in front of the spa bubblers. There is a chance we will switch houses in May to a 4-bedroom that combines everything I like about the two houses I mentioned. I'll know then whether we will need three big beds. Of course there is a good chance that house won't be available.
