HELP! CS @ Hollywood Studios?

We'll be at HS on 9/30. I know that they aren't many good choices at HS for CS. We are eating our TS at Hollywood & Dine for the Playhouse Disney Breakfast. We'll be there all day, as we LOVE Hollywood Studios, but I am at a loss for 2 CS options.

I know I know, stay away from ABC commissary!

Anyone have any ideas, is any resort or any place close we can hop over to and maybe eat a CS dinner and return for EMH-Evening?

We enjoy the PizzaPlanet.

Transfering out of the park always takes time, but there is the boat from DisneyStudios to World Showcase in EPCOT - lots of CS options there.

I just wanted to add that the ABC Commissary is not as bad as a lot of others on here make it out to be, so I have never found anything wrong with their food.

I second that for pizza planet! I ate there for the first time in June and was impressed with the food. You can get a pizza with a small salad and drink. We enjoyed it.

I thought there was a long thread about this -

I love Backlot Express - be warned - its near the exit of Indiana Jones - so you want to go before Indy lets out - or it gets REALLY crowded!!

(as you walk pass ABC towards Star Tours its on the left - but its not open 100% of the time!)

My favorite memory is we lost mom (she always wanders!!) I sat dad down at ABC with a beer and went off looking for mom - found her - by the time I got their food (and more beer!!) the line grew HUGE!!

now just checking at allears - the menu seems really small I remember a choice of 2 - 3 salads, a few sandwiches and burgers!

WOW! I didn't realize that there was a ferry to Epcot from HS?!! That would work well for us, we are early eaters (5pm-5:30pm) as there are 10 of us, 4 adults and 6 kids from 10m-7yrs!

We LOVE Pizza Planet in our house. You get a large meal when on dp - pizza, salad and dessert. The kids love it as well - but I would also love to hear if there is anywhere else ....

We like the CS area by RnRC/ToT - there are 3 or 4 CS places all serving different things, kind of like a mini food court, so everybody can get what they want.

We do Pizza Planet - it's the lesser of the CS evils at DS and they actually have a good salad - Greek, I think. Also, if it's still there there used to be a place inside the Fantasmic arena where you could get a hot dog so we would do that for dinner while waiting for Fantasmic to start.
