I saw this recipe in the paper the other day for All-American Turkey, the recipe calls for salt, pepper and paprika to taste, plus one turkey.

Okay so far so good.

Then step one says I should rub the inside of the turkey with the salt, pepper and paprika, okay so I did that, but here's the problem, in retrospect I think I may have used too much paprika and the only way to find out is to lick the inside of the turkey. Is this a good idea?

Hi Ran!
I don't think you have to worry about it. I don't think I would lick it to find out though.
Maybe someone else can help you more. :)

YUCK, RAN!

Don't like the inside of the turkey, you wacko

You are so funny

LOL :teeth:

Unless you're planning on licking the inside of the turkey after it's cooked, I wouldn't worry.

I've always thought it was funny that they use that phrase for adding seasoning to raw meat. Who tastes raw meat?

Go ahead and lick the inside of the Turkey if you want a side of food poisoning to go with Thanksgiving dinner ;)
