Question...

My family is on the verge of switching to Coronado from AoA. (Imagine that little dancing banana here. I don't know how to get it on my iPad lol) I am thrilled to see there are coffee makers in the rooms at CSR because there aren't any in the AoA LM rooms. DH loves his morning coffee, so this works out well! I see it's been mentioned that they are the Cuisinart brand and take pods. We have a Keurig at home and I know nothing about coffee, I hate it, I can't make it, it's quite sad (and a little embarrassing actually). So what are these "pods"? All I know are K-cups because I buy them for DH when I grocery shop. I do know enough that pods aren't K-cups. So what specific brand should I be looking for? Where can I buy them? Thanks so much!

The resort will provide the pods. There's no need to bring your own. If you need more than they supply just ask for more. The pods are Joffrey's; Regular and Decaf.

They are Cuisanart pods. Kind of like a flat round teabag.

I'm worried about the brand of coffee cause DH is picky and he's never had Joffrey's. So if I know what kind of pods to buy, I can buy one of DH's favorite brews in pod form and just pack them up with us. So in the store should I just look for "Cuisinart Pods"?

For our last couple of trips I bought them from coffeerocket.com. I'm not a huge coffee snob but didn't like the cuisinart brand pods that they used to have in the rooms. I'll be interested to see how I feel about the Joffrey's when we go in December, but I'm still going to bring some of the donut shop brand that we usually get just in case:)

Just make sure they are the pods and not cups. Cuisinart also makes Kcup type pods.

Yes I know. In your post that I quoted you said the pods are Cuisinart.

Just to clarify.
1) The coffee pots were changed, starting two years ago.
2) With exception of some DVC, they were changed to Cuisinart.
. . . these are two, side-by-side, coffee makers
. . . they use "pods" which look like circular tea bags
. . . one pod makes on cup of coffee
3) The coffee makers and coffee pods were branded as Cuisinart
4) The new contract for coffee is with Joffrey.
5) Thus, the resorts with pod units are being replaced buy Joffrey pods.
6) So,
. . . the coffee makers are Cuisinart
. . . the actual coffee is Joffrey

NOTE: For those with picky coffee taste, the same "coffee rule"
applies, "Sorry you don't like our coffee." (After all, most people who
said they were picky still drank the Nestle's Coffee.
