I have an ADR at Ohana for breakfast for our last full day at Disney. We are also doing 1900 and CP for dinner during our stay. I was wondering if anyone can tell me which they like better? If you have tried all 3 I would love your advice.
Thanks!

Well- for me it woudl boil down to what characters we wanted to see for sure, and also if we wanted a buffet.

I tend to be a little buffeted out at disney, so the idea of ohana is great cuz you still get served- but get the characters coming to you. It's a little less "work" :)
But if you coudl care lessa bout lilo and stitch or REALLY want the fab 5- then go w/ Chef Mickeys. Or if you're near the Beach Club and wnat a more relaxing morning there- go w/ Cape May.

We have done cape may and chef mickeys and are doing ohana on this upcoming trip and i'm RELALY excited about it. Chef Mikcey's for us was good- but not amazing. I've alwasy really liked Cape May, but i dont know that i'd go WAY out of my way to go there. It's nice b/c it's the only meal like it in that circle of hotels.

Was I totally unhelpful!? :)

I have been to breakfast at Ohana and Chef Mickey. Of those two I liked Ohana better. I like family style over a buffet. Plus we had better character interaction at Ohana. 4 of the 6 of us were in the bathroom and missed Mickey, so we were taken to him. Mickey didn't miss a beat. Great interaction.

This was so different from our Chef Mickey experience. Goofy skipped our table, and had to come back to us. He made it like he was doing us a favor to take a picture with him, never mind the fact that we were all sitting at the table when he skipped us.

With that said, we have ADRs for all 3 places on our upcoming trip.

I haven't tried all three but we did do CMC and CM and I have to say that for attitude of the servers and characters I liked the CMC better, but Mickey Mouse isn't there if that's a deciding factor for you. Food wise we hated CM but we did dinner there not breakfast.

They are all good for breakfast and all good for dinner. It depends where you want to eat at and if it matters what characters are there.

Definitely was nice to be able to sit at Ohana and not worry about missing characters. Food was decent too.
Chef Mickey had lots more variety though on their buffet. Good choice too. I'd do both again!

I would definitely vote for O'Hanas. We just ate there in May and loved it (we also went about 5 years ago and loved it then as well). Take a look at the menu and see if your family likes the food offered. It was all delicious and it was so nice having the food brought to the table (no filling plates for my children as well as myself at a buffet line). I especially loved the sausage and the Mickey waffles. This will be a must for us on future trips.

We are not Lilo and Stitch fans, but they were fun, Mickey was fun to see, and Goofy was great :thumbsup2

We have done Crystal Palace (breakfast only) and Chef Mickey's (breakfast and dinner). CP is our absolute favorite. After two horrible experiences at H&V and an only so-so visit the last time to CM's for dinner, we no longer do lunch/dinner buffets (except for Biergarten and Cape May Cafe--both of which are very good). We've not done Ohanas since they changed the theme (don't like Stitch) and switched it to family style. I much prefer picking my own food and I don't care for eggs which are on the family style platter.

Thank you for all your help. I am really excited for Ohana then, because we are doing the other buffets(CP & 1900) earlier in the week. Might be a nice change.

Are the characters Lilo & Stitch, and Mickey & Pluto or Goofy?

We LOVE Goofy, but I didn't think he was one of the characters here.

12 MORE DAYS TIL DEPARTURE!!!:yay:
