HELP! Chucky Cheese Secret Shop

Well, Chuck has me confused. I was told that all of the Secret Shopper spots were filled and I received a packet in the mail on Friday. Oh well, Skee Ball here we come!

I never got the email. Last I heard from them was a few months ago when they said that CEC was taken. Now Today i get a packet that has to be completed by next sunday. They sure don't give you much time.

Now they say the next visit is on them. Wgat or how much do they give you? I easily spend $80 or more a visit.

Has anyone actually done this? I attempted this last week. I tried to give an employee a citation, and they actually gave it back to me. She said she had no idea what it was. The only advice she gave me was to go find a manager and ask them what it was.

The service was horrible, and I only gave out the red citation at the end. About 1 1/2 weeks after I shopped I got the gift card in the mail for 2 large pizzas, 4 drinks and 30 game tokens. The lady I gave the citation to seemed to know exactly what it was for and did not have a good look on her face when I gave it to her.

Not even a free dinner could get me to Chuck E. Cheese. We went a few times when my DD was younger. It was seriously so loud that I couldn't taste the food. I know that sounds weird but it is the truth. I couldn't concentrate on anything but how loud it was. My DD had fun but I was so glad when she outgrew it.

I took DD on Friday for an early lunch (around 11) and there were less than 20 people there. In the past when we've gone it has been PACKED and service was terrible. So for my first Secret Shopper Misson I was actually expecting to hand out the red card. But since nobody was there, we got excellent service.

The employees knew what those cards were and were thrilled to get them (it was like I was giving them money!). I have to wonder if they get a bonus for getting the cards?

Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting the freebies and plan to go back again for another early lunch.

We did ours a few weeks ago, filled out the on-line survey the same day, and the gift card came in about 10 days. Think AngieWin may have made a typo. The gift card was for one (1) pizza, 4 drinks and 30 game tokens. Oh, and for our initial trip (the one where we handed out the cards), we only bought french fries (and coupons for free tokens off ring pop packages) -- so you don't have to spend much.

The two times I have done this we have gotten a card for one pizza, 4 drinks (there are only 3 of us but whatever) and 30 tokens. This is the only time we go to Chuck.

I got mine a month ago, but threw all the stuff away after 2 of my kids were sick (again)after visiting CEC. Seems like EVERY time we go there, someone is throwing up within 2 days. (I couldn't say "no" this time as MIL wanted to take them right before she moved 14 hours away.)

Anyway, we wil NEVER go back to CEC. Way too many germs............

I just got my packet on Monday. This after being told I was on the waiting list for our CEC. At least we have a couple of days left. I plan on being there when they open at 10:00 Sat. to beat the crowds, guess we just will have soda and a snack. I have had pretty good luck as far as crowds and noise level by going at off times. Oh well, a free dinner is worth it. Thanks for the original post about signing up in the first place, never would have known about it!!

Congrats to those of you who were able to get in this time. My kids LOVE this place, but it is SO pricey.

Got my packet today after e-mailing them several days ago. My info. says the shop has to be done prior to the 13th, so guess we'll be going tomorrow - I'm sure the kids won't mind.

Got the packet today *rolleyes* Nothing like last minute! Anyone know of any online coupons other than the one on their site? I got some in the paper several weeks ago but tossed them since we never go. Figures huh ?? LOL

Remember, this is the last weekend to do the secret shop.

We went today. It was packed, but surprisingly we had good service. Our pizza didn't come in 10 minutes, so we didn't give out the blue citation. But, we did give out 2 green ones. Yay! The first guy looked bewildered, but the second girl must have known what they were because she got really excited.

We did wash our hands right before we ate, so hopefully we won't get sick!

I got my packet and email reminder and did my shop last weekend. I only handed out two reward certificates. I got the apple pizza ($2.49) and it was fabulous. My dh had to eat it for me and he thought it was great also. Not my kind of place but the grandsons are looking forward to helping with future shops. I am thinking that once I have done the one I will keep getting the offers?

I am not sure if you will continue to get offers, I did one last summer and never got anything about the current on. You can sign up to do it again though.

Does anyone know what "reward" the cast members get for receiving one of the green citations? I am just curious.
