Help Choosing Signature Restaurants

I have Jiko and California Grill booked. I intend to keep CG, but have been reading bad things about Jiko recently. Should I switch, and to what - Flying Fish, Narcoossee, or Yachtsman? TYIA.

Keep Jiko, I think you need to try it for yourself. Even though I do not like some restaurants they get great reviews from others. It all comes down to personal taste.

I've never eaten at Jiko's even though I've stay at the lodge. Maybe on an adult trip I'll try it. All three of your other choices are great. I love Flying Fish.

On adult trips there are restaurants I love and DH doesn't. Restaurants he loves that I can take them or leave them.

We've been to all of them and all were good. I would say to me CG took too long. Jiko was good, but it didn't stand out to me as much. Narcoosee's we loved. We actually were planning on doing Narcoosee's again in July, but we haven't been in Yachtsman in SO long, and I saw some great reviews and pics recently, so we changed it. I would say you can't really go wrong with any of them. If you've never been to Jiko I think its worth a try.

Jiko is the best meal experience we've ever had in any restaurant anywhere.

CG is over-rated and if it were not on the top floor with a view would be in the same ranks as Narcooses or Citricos - just another signature meal. It is good, but too many people get swept away by the view and ignore the fact that the restaurant itself is hectic, noisy, has lots of movement, and is not very nicely decorated (which fits the bland Contemporary). It is certainly not a romantic dining experience at all. Worth doing at least once, for certain, but by no means the spectacular experience so many expect it to be.

I haven't eaten at any of these, other than the Yachtsman. We had dinner there last week (for the first time) and it was SOOOOO good!!

My BF and I are both "well-done" beef eaters... I know everybody cringe ... and it's very difficult to get a GOOD well-done steak at any restaurant.

But the Yachtsman did a fabulous job on his 24oz porterhouse and my 12oz new york strip!! The best we've ever had at home or out. Not charred at all, still extremely juicy, and just very, very good.

I can speak for Cali Grill & Narcoossee's both very good. As far as Jiko I hear all good and definately on my 2 do list.
