OK we're spoiled deluxe people but are considering a mod. for next trip for a number of reasons. We are probably going to be 3 adults and 2 kids which would put us POR but there may be other adults coming so that would be 2 or more rooms. This trip won't be until Jan. so I have time to plan. I've heard the CSR has suites - even a 2-bedroom one does anyone have the layout - I'm trying to go through the CSR FAQ page but it's pretty long - I'll get there. Has anyone stayed in one of these??? My DH and I are the only ones with kids and the convenient transportation is our reasoning for the deluxes - the stroller on the busses can be a real hassle. Of course with all the adults we should be able to manage easily. What are your recommendations - we've done the Poly and the wilderness and LOVED them both - will we be REALLY crowded at a mod.?? We don't spend TONS of time in the room but enough to want a little space to move around. Sorry so long but I'm out of my water here and trying to keep everyone happy.

Some plusses for CBR, larger rooms than other mods. Also double sinks and a curtain that closes off from the room. If anyone gets up early or wants to get dressed the curtain is a plus.

I have stayed at all the mods and they are all great. We like the sandy beaches and atmosphere the best at CBR. You will have a great time no matter where you stay.

I have pictures of CBR up on my web site. Just follow the links below.

My favorite is CBR. No matter how crowded it's always very quiet and there is great cvonvenience with the "island" pools being just a few steps away. Just the best late at night after a long day, or during a midday break. I understand feeling spoiled by deluxe, but there is a beauty in coming back "home' and just entering your room without trucking through lobby, elevator, hallway. personally, I love this about the moderates. to me there is just something more relaxing about a "moderate" vacation. Have tried YC, WL and Dolphin, all of which have great features...but I'd have to say in my heart CBR beats them all. Trying the Poly due to FTP this Aug. Maybe this time I won't miss CBR, since it's island theming, too.

CBR! This resort is beautiful. The theme and landscaping are wonderful. I like that this resort is divided into islands and that each island has it's own pool. The main pool is great as is Old Port Royale. The beaches are so relaxing and it's nice to be able to sit on the hammocks and take it all in.

I have stayed at both CBR and CSR. CSR is definitely more "deluxy". Perfect for grown-ups and the pool at CSR blows the one at CBR away!!!! Only 4 bus stops within the resort- one in each area. I don't know about the suites, but they are very expensive. Are you passholders? The regular rooms had great codes this past Jan.

POR has trundle beds and my DD (15yr) & DS (11yr) found them to be very uncomfortable and the sink area is small. With the trundle bed pulled out there is very little room, we were always walking over something.

Yes we are passholders and this will be our second trip with the passes (gotta use em or it might kill me). I just know we'll have a harder time once the rates are out making up our minds especially if the deluxes have good rates. So I'd like to have a fairly firm decision that EVERYONE agrees to before that. Oh well - this is the biggest part of the fun for me - RESEARCH and trying to pick my favorite for this trip.
